We have appreciated the Toronto Humane Society for many years. In the past, the institution supported us greatly with the care of our senior cats, and their compassion and professionalism always stood out. This time, we returned with a different and very special purpose: adopting a new daughter.nnWe were fortunate enough to meet Boppy, a lovely six-month-old kitten who had arrived just the day before our visit. From the moment we met her, we completely fell in love with this little angel. The adoption process was smooth, efficient, and extremely well organized, clearly reflecting the care and dedication of the staff.nnEveryone we interacted with was kind and professional, and we would especially like to thank John and Chelsea for their attentiveness, knowledge, and genuine care throughout the process. They made the experience both easy and reassuring.nnNow, two days after Boppy came home with us, we are even more grateful for this opportunity. Our hearts are full, and we couldn’t be happier. Thank you, Toronto Humane Society, for everything you do and for helping us welcome such a wonderful new member into our family.
My experience with the Toronto Humane Society was very positive. I wanted to adopt two cats, and they made the process simple and well organized. They took the time to ensure the animals were healthy and a good fit for my home and lifestyle.nThe team clearly takes their work seriously and genuinely cares about making the right match between people and pets. I had a positive experience during our dental consultation with Dr. Zaki Jafry. He never rushed the appointment and took the time to go through each of my dog's teeth one-by-one, carefully explaining what he was seeing. I REALLY appreciated how educational and thorough he was - it helped me feel much more confident and informed about next steps. He set realistic expectations while still being incredibly kind and reassuring which meant a lot to me as a worried dog parent. The level of care, patience, and detail was exceptional and he should be 100% recognized for that. Keep up the amazing work, Dr Jafry and thank you again!
The staff and doctors truly care. The Toronto Humane Society saved our dog’s life.nnFrom the moment we arrived, our pet was treated with dignity, compassion, and urgency. Everyone we encountered showed genuine understanding and sensitivity. The recognized that a member of our family was in trouble.nnTheir veterinary team stepped in immediately and performed life-saving emergency surgery with only 1 day’s notice. Afterward, they took the time to thoroughly explain everything we needed to know to nurse our dog back to health, and they did so with patience and kindness.nnThis is a real charity doing real, meaningful work. People often say you don’t realize how important something is until it affects you personally and that was absolutely true for me with the Toronto Humane Society.nnWe are beyond grateful.
I'm thankful for the trolley humane society. It is a necessary addition to the area. Our daughter's on social assistance so humane society does help her out. The place is busy a little louder times, but they're also fast and thorough. A great place for adopting and for looking after your pets.
