Toronto Family Hearing is an independently owned and operated audiology and hearing aid clinic on Roncesvalles Ave. in Toronto, Ontario.
Toronto Family Hearing is owned and operated by Mahsa Mosstaghimi-Tehrani, B.A, Au.D, Reg. CASLPO. After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Windsor, Mahsa attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated with a Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D).
While completing her degree, Mahsa worked in various clinical settings that served both pediatric and adult patients, including the Children's Hospital of Michigan and the University Physician Group at the Wayne State School of Medicine.
Working at the Children's Hospital of Michigan provided Mahsa with a unique understanding of the needs of children who require hearing assessments and/or assistive listening devices. Assessing children can be particularly challenging using traditional methods, which is why Mahsa is able to engage in alternative forms of testing measures, such as play audiometry and sound field testing with visual reinforcement.
After practicing for several years Mahsa decided to open her own clinic. Mahsa brings a compassionate and comprehensive approach to treating hearing loss. By conducting the most thorough assessments, hearing aid fittings, verifications and counselling, Mahsa ensures that every patient leaves her office with the best understanding of their hearing health. Mahsa can provide services in English and Farsi.
