My family and I have all been ongoing patients of the college for years. I had a cleaning done in the last week and it was a great experience! The students have all been very kind and accommodating. They have assisted my grandmother who is hard of hearing with her dental care very patiently. I really appreciate how the students do such thorough work when cleaning, the hygienists and doctors in the clinic are professional and efficient every time we interact. The atmosphere is clean and very modern, Cleaning and X-rays are affordable and keep our pockets happy ! $32 for a teeth cleaning … Definitely will be returning in the future!
I graduated from the TCDHA program in 2009, a C2/D2 class. When I joined the program, I was quite new to Canada and my English was not that great back then either. I was obviously a bit apprehensive about joining but also very determined to do well since I knew that graduating from this prestigious school will be my ultimate ticket to a great life in Canada. Everything was new to me as I didn't have any previous dental experience. The program was certainly not easy, but I studied hard and my dental hygiene dexterity skills were coming along really well too. The faculty was amazing as well as the management was very supportive and the friendships I made... still going strong with many of my classmates even after a decade plus. After I graduated I worked in the field for about 6 years. Made incredible income that enable me to start travelling the world and real financial independence. Pretty good for a 23-something immigrant from Slovakia. These days, I'm not working as a hygienist anymore. I currently work in tech on the talent acquisition side of things. Very different from dental hygiene for sure but without becoming the hygienist first, my career wouldn't have progressed in this way. I highly recommend joining this program! It will be the best decision you ever made for your future :
I have been dealing with the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene for the past 15 years and they are an excellent group of instructors to deal with. They are very knowledgeable and will go to the ends of the earth to assist students. The students graduating from this program are prepared and confident for their job ahead. Excellent all the way around. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking.
I went in here for a cleaning and was pleasantly surprised by the students care and attitude, they seemed knowledgeable and very respectful. I did however notice that some of the teachers lacked when it came to supporting the students and mentoring them. Also after speaking with the students I noticed that many of them are struggling to find vitally important clients in order for them to complete the course and graduate and the school seems to offer little to no help.
I graduated from Toronto College in 2018 and cannot say enough good things about the school. Like any other institution, if you don’t put in the work, you will not be successful. It is a fast paced program which means you will have to work very hard to get the results you want. The clinical staff was amazing and I felt very supported both in and out of the classroom. I truly feel that the knowledge and training I received at this institution helped to mold me into a confident and skilled hygienist. One of the things I appreciated most about the school was that unlike other institutions, the equipment and dental software was very modern and similar to what I am now using in the working world. I highly recommend TCDHA as a college of choice if you want to become a great RDH.
Better Stay away from this college if you care about students' health and pocket. Even teachers do not have proper knowledge of what they are teaching. They just read you slides, and you are on your own. then they want you to know everything for exams. -Front desk workers and the management teams are the rudest and are the most unprofessional people in an educational environment you will ever experience. it's like a torture. -then Question is:- where to report this school for what they are doing with their poor students? Canadian government must conduct an investigation. stop torturing poor students please.
Toronto college is a great school. The teachers, staff, and admissions team is very welcoming and friendly! Everyone in admissions was honestly so nice and helpful. I was not sure how to apply or what to do but the admissions team made the process so easy! I called some other places and they were not so helpful at all. At toronto college they returned my questions over emails promptly. My sister and my cousins both went to this school and they both had a great experience, said staff and faculty are kind and professional. I went on a tour to see the school and im impressed with the clinics they have. I am so excited to be attending the college next year!
One of the best learning institute. All the instructors are highly experienced, skilled and knowledgeable. Clinic instructors are very helpful, dedicated and always willing to support the students in the clinics. The school does have some strict policies like any other institute but still it is the best place where you can easily approach your mentors to clarify all your doubts. Don't think of any other school if you want to get enough knowledge in both theory and practice in dental hygiene course. I can't thank enough to all the wonderful faculty but don't want to miss the great names like Ms. Mihaela, Ms. Abby, Ms. Cathy, Ms. Loida and Ms. Mary Lou. They are the real gem. Always grateful to this amazing school and everyone from the front desk to the Dean. Highly recommended.
This college has really clean waiting areas and tables for patients to wait at. The Hygienist I had was really patient and took care of me and my dental needs as best as she could. I’d recommend people to have their teeth cleaned here. I’d say it’s comparable as to going to any dental clinic.
Toronto College of Dental Hygiene has been a great partner I have had the privilege of working with. We have worked together in educating the Toronto community and clientele on campus and off-campus. The program director and faculty have leveraged the therapy and dental education resources that we have provided over the years and we are grateful for their commitment in education and client care.
