I chose Toro Toro Sushi and Poke for my dinner night! It was a beautiful sunny Sunday so there was a lot of people in the plaza. I took a ticket and waited for 30’ Actually I was walking to other shop in that plaza; therefore no time wasted nnThe restaurant is small but I think they utilized the space quite well. Their digital menu boards looked pretty. The food, some items, is on a higher side. When the food came out, they looked clean & nicely presented I love a good organizing food plate/bowlnI got salmon poke & some sushi rolls, which tasted yummy. It didn’t look much but I couldn’t finish. The service was great! Servers were friendly & hard working they had long line of customers for at least 2-3 hours
Toro Toro is seriously impressive, The food is great fresh, balanced, full of flavor but what really stands out is the presentation. Every plate looks premium.nThe box, the setup, the attention to detail…nnThe restaurant décor also hits different. It’s modern, elegant, and the whole place gives off a high-quality vibe the moment you walk in. You can tell they care about the experience just as much as the taste.nnOverall, if you want sushi that satisfies both your eyes and your appetite, Toro Toro is a guaranteed win.
Real good spot for some poke. The restaurant itself is right by Vaughan mills but not inside. The location has some seating but not many. The service is quick and they know what they are doing. Decent amount of selection for poke bowls and some sushi as well. Tried the lobster and sushi poke bowl and it was pretty good. May e they can add a little bit more meat for the price but otherwise good.
This place is not kidding when they say that they offer premium fish and fresh ingredients!!nnSome of the best sushi I’ve had and it keeps its taste even for takeout.nnThe dining area inside the restaurant is pretty small so if you have a party of more than two, I would strongly recommend you consider take out options as they don’t do reservations and there’s no guarantee that you will have space.nnThe packaging is extremely high-quality and elevates the entire experiencenn5/5 stars
I recently ordered the take-out sushi box from Toro Toro in Vaughan, and the experience was disappointing. For the price, I expected much fresher and more flavorful sushi, but everything tasted underwhelming and didn’t feel fresh at all.nnThe box itself looks fancy, but the presentation doesn’t make up for the quality of the food. It felt like more effort went into the packaging than the sushi.nnThe service was okay.nnWhat concerned me most is that both my mom and I felt sick afterward, which made the experience even more disappointing.nnOverall, it just wasn’t worth the price, and I wouldn’t go back. There are better options nearby with fresher sushi and better value.
