Top Ten Produce

Amazing produce, super friendly staff, great prices. They stock a ton of regular grocery and specialty items in here, too....this place can operate as a one-stop shop for most of my grocery needs. Bonus: they play really awesome music in here and parking is always easy. Highly recommend!

I love this store. It has everything I need. I shop here always. So great to walk into Top 10, hear the great music, smile and chat with other customers and the staff. I make excuses to go there! And sometimes there is Mickey the cat……so cool. Crabby people with judgements should stay away, though. This store has such a great vibe it doesn’t need you trying to bring it down. And I’m old, mid 70’s. So there.

My first time stepping into this grocery store early this spring and it was unlike any other grocery store I’ve been to. It was rainy and cold that day but the old school jazzy blues soul tunes they played on the speakers transported me to another era/city. So much character and flavour. The people working there are also so friendly. I didn’t see mickey during my first visit but hope to see him back!!! The community needs mickeys presence

Love mickey the cat! Appreciate the owner for keeping such a cute cat around. For the ppl that say they are deadly allergic to cats you can wear face masks and gloves when entering the store. I’m also extremely allergic to cats to an extent that I will sneeze non stop until I feel like my brain fluid is out and eyes all red and swollen. But as long as you keep your distance there shouldn’t be a problem because the cat hair won’t just free flow from the air if you stay in distance.

The place is clean and the produce/grocery is always fresh and competitively priced. Mickey was a great employee and brought a lot of joy to my kids and I. Unfortunately we live in a society that whines and complains about anything and everything. If you’re “deathly allergic” simply wear a mask and avoid Mickey. He will not jump on you or follow you and the rumours about mice and rats are absolutely false I’ve been shopping here for many years and have never seen a rat or a trap or anything that would lead me to believe it’s a unsanitary store. If we start bashing small business’ over such petty and dumb complaints we will be left with nothing but save on foods, Safeway and Walmarts. People need to get a grip.

Quality produce at fair prices. Store’s music selection is 10/10 and you get to give Mickey scratches if he’s around. People should consider shopping locally at family run stores, like Top Ten.

I can't enter the building because I'm deathly allergic to cats. it's a human rights issue to be excluding people with certain health conditions from shopping here by keeping animals on the premises; something the owners should educate themselves on before someone drops a lawsuit on them.

Everytime I've come here I see rats, mice and stray cats frequently in the store, infecting the food. Vancouver Coastal Heath is preparing to shut it down if the animal problems are not resolved soon. This is factual information that can be confirmed with CTV as well as the Coastal Heath public records. The owners should be ashamed of themselves for thinking that it was normal to let cats solve their rodent problem. Gross.

I have been going to Top 10 Produce as a regular for most of my groceries for almost five years. The produce is always fresh and well priced they sell the BEST pomegranates in the city during the wintertime, plus I feel like I can find almost all my other dried/frozen goods and groceries, they’re selection is amazing if you really scan the shelves. The staff are very kind, and extremely helpful and the decor/music/vibes are amazing and welcoming. When I move, I will make trips across the city to visit this grocery store. Cannot recommend it enough!

Its a great place to shop for oriental ingredients that you can't find at save-on foods. It is a little confusing as the prices of items are really hard to find, but I got a ton of stuff I have been looking for and it was decently cheap. It would also be nice if the reciept would show the individual items I bought so I can know how much I spent on each item, because I spent $20 on something and I have no idea what it was.
