This place is absolutely amazing!! Retro and vintage snowmobiles from days of old! Art work, poster, ads, one-offs, old gear, the Top of the Lake Snowmobile Museum has it sll, even classic DVDs, slaes brochures, and even some original artwork! I bought stuff just to support the business!!
CLEARLY worth the drive and an hour of time. Could probably spend a whole day there and not see everything. Staff friendly, clean bathrooms.
Amazing Place...a Must See
Excellent staff!! We don’t even snowmobile but we love this gem of the U.P.! One of the most thorough museums out there that will give you a fantastic overview of the sport
Very cool! I was poor growing up and I often got old sleds for free and fixed them up, and I saw a few of the oldies I had here in beautiful shape. A great place to visit even if you're not into snowmobiles, the snow machines are awesome here!
So much history in the building. I do not snowmobile, but the design changes and geographic history was fascinating.
Great place to visit, especially for sled head history. If you need technical manuals, they have pretty much everything on available to include microfiche.
Really cool collection of snowmobiles! Even my twelve year old son enjoyed himself. Very friendly ppl, definitely a must when touring the U.P.
Stopped here on the way home from a fishing and snowmobiling trip in Curtis, Michigan. The museum is very nice and professionally done. I never knew there were so many different snowmobile manufacturers! The museum is highly recommended.
