I have been going to this restaurant for the past 2 months. The staff are lovely and so helpful. I always enjoy my time in this restaurant. The food is lovely, highly recommended!
You must try Tonis Almafi if you are ever in the area. We had passed by a few times and decided to finally go for lunch and what a GREAT decision! The food was AMAZING, full of flavour and great quality. We ordered calamari fritti, gnocchi della casa and pizza capricciosa. Really loved the gnocchi, could totally appreciate all the flavours in the dish. Michaella, the waitress that took care us was so nice and sweet to our little boy. This will for sure be one of our regulars from now on!!!! Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs for babies.
Really nice Italian restaurant! We did not have a reservation but we found a table for us. Staff welcomed and they were really friendly. We had a starter a bruschetta and the main were calzone and milanesa. I highly recommend the special calzone. It was delicious. The tomato sauce was really good… it felt as it was home-made! Do not miss the chance to try this local place.
A great little family owned and run, local Italian. Service was welcoming and warm and all items on the menu were great value. Had the arriabiatta and it was lovely. Would recommend and love to go again. Decor was classy and warm too, bit of a quirky piece with the candle, though. We got two soft drinks, a bottle of wine, three mains and a desert for £55!
Spot on Italian restaurant menu and service. Very well cooked food and great waitress team. Really enjoyed our meal. Lovely menu. Will enjoy working through it. Totally recommendedFood: 5/5
On the birthday of my friend, we went to Tonis Amalfi, an Italian family restaurant, for dinner. The business of this restaurant is very good, and the seats are almost full during dinner time. There are 6 of us, and we ordered 6 appetizers and 7 main dishes, but we didn't expect the main dishes to be that big, and the restaurant will give free bread, I feel that if only order 6 appetizers + 3 main dishes will be enough for us. Recommended appetizers: Braised Prawns in White Wine Gamberoni al Vino Bianco The sause is extremely tastey, and the prawns are plump and juicy, please make sure to eat it with bread dipped in the plate! In addition, we also ordered burrata cheese with Parma ham, smoked duck breast with orange and other appetizers, which are also good. Main dish recommendation: Seafood Linguine Linguine al Frutti di Mare The seafood on the tomato base is paired with Linguine, which is sweet and sour, especially appetizing. Mushroom Lasagna Pappardelle Dello Chef This pasta has porcini mushrooms, sausage and truffle oil in a rich sauce with a lingering aroma, highly recommended. Seafood Risotto Risotto Ai Frutti Di Mare The rice is drenched in a seafood-based soup, and the color is bright and attractive, every bite is very enjoyable. Grilled Seafood Shrimp, squid, salmon and sea bass, grilled over charcoal fire, the seafood is tender and charcoal-flavored. The portions are really big, we packed home many dishes, and there is no room for dessert in the stomach. If we are going there again next time, we will share a main dish between two people, and then try their desserts.
Highly recommend for italian food lovers. We had an excellent experience from the minute we walked in. A great little family owned and run, local Italian. Service was welcoming and warm and all items on the menu were great value. Vegetarian options: Yes Kid-friendliness: yes
Very cosy and clean environment though not very big. We ordered a pizza, salmon , mussel spaquetti and tiramisu and all look gteat and taste delicious. They also have highchair with table for kids. Our only complain is that it doesn’t have baby change and it’s impossible to change baby in the restaurant as well as service is slow and we had to go to find the waitress to order dessert and ask for bill
I came here with a friend on a Friday evening. What a lovely place, great food, nice wines and friendly service. Starter, Main Course and Dessert with drinks will cost you around £60 each. Try it, you won't be disappointed.Food: 5/5
We came here for dinner and had the best experience. The food was so delicious and it was all really reasonably priced. We’ll definitely be back again. Loved it so much!Food: 5/5
