I love picking up food here, it is always fresh and delicious. The young man who took my order today was so polite and knowledgeable about the menu. Couldn't ask for more for a quick meal!
Our first time in the area and definitely wanted to give this shop a try. It was hard for me to enjoy the food considering the overall condition of the dining area.The staff was not the friendliest. They could tell it was our first time and offered no help at all. Young ones standing around chit chatting when they should have been cleaning up the place. Just my opinion. We left pretty disappointed.
I read an article that this restaurant had the "best" hot dog in the state of Ohio so had to try it out. The Hungarian style dog was good but underwhelming. The stuffed cabbage was on point though!! Article should be re-written because I'd go back for that again.Food: 5/5
Driving thru Toledo and stopped for lunch. Nice take on Eastern European food. I enjoyed the Paprika Chicken and my wife had the cabbage rolls. I would stop at this location again. Fair prices as well.
Not sure why it shows the Maumee drive-thru is only open from 9PM to 10PM because that is not the case. It is open most, if not all, of the walk- in hours and they were super efficient! Today was a great day to pick up some Packo chili dogs after all it's $2 Tuesday! and spicy pickles and head down to Sidecut Park to relax alongside the Maumee River for lunch.
Flavor was great. But the food was not hot. I got cabbage roll and a hotdog. They just opened so that might be why.
This is the first time I have been to Packo's in many years. The last time was when the only Packo's was the original. The food is still great, but I miss the fresh baked hot dog rolls. Plus nothing compares to the atmosphere of the original. Will I go back? You bet, but I will still miss the memories of the family friendly original Packo's where you sit down, were served and you could have a beer or two with your Hungarian dogs and chili.
Really great hot dogs! It was not as clean as it could have been. Service was good. The displays of autographed hot dog buns were fun. Found one signed by Radar from MASH. I'd visit again.Food: 5/5
Went here for the first time, thought we would get a quick meal after shopping. Food was cold and tasted terrible. Ordered chili cheese fries with our meal and watched them serve 5 other customers while we waited for fries. Finished our food then got attitude when we asked for a refund for the fries. Will never eat at a Pakos again.Food: 1/5
hadn't been to Packo's original one in east Toledo in ages.. Always loved the chicken paprikash and the cabbage rolls. Decided to stop and eat lunch.. from the time it took when the person put my cabbage roll on the tray to the time i got cashed out and then seated my cabbage roll was lukewarm. tasted ok but nothing special. Seriously I left with a headache because it was so loud inside.. at least the original Packo's has some atmosphere.
