Good Chinese restaurant! I went there during lunch time  1-2 pm to try the dim sum. We were well greeted and seated promptly. The moment we sat we were immediately served by staff. Each one of them had a cart with different plates and asked us if we wanted to be served dishes from these carts. This was the fastest service I have ever seen!  We ordered various dishes around 10. We enjoyed all of them, some even more than the others. I was however surprised by the fact that they serve mayonnaise in a couple of plates. I believe this is not the right condiment to put with Chinese food...  I will definitely come back for the dim sum again. I like the variety of dishes they offer and food is delicious. I recommend this place!

Pretty tasty and hearty Chinese food. Would highly recommend the stir fried lobster and crab soup. It’s the perfect place for friends or family gatherings as the portions are meant to be shared. The Dim Sum is pretty good too.

Food is really really good! Service is ok, needs a little bit of improvement. Price is decent I guess, i wouldn't say expensive or cheap either. One thing to consider before coming if you come by car to this restaurant is the parking space, you may find it hard to find a parking when you come during busy hours. Overall experience??? I'd give it a 4  and my recommendation!

Food is always nice and hot. It's a push cart dim sum experience which can be intimidating for some because you don't know what it is. But once you get comfortable you can enjoy a variety of deliciously cooked dishes. We always get the chicken feet along with haw gow, Siu mai because they are amazing.

Used to be BYOW now they have liquor license.. Only 4 table on a Wed night.. but the food is good still

Delicious authentic Chinese food.  Dim sum is very tastey and nice variety but a bit  pricey.  Parking is insanely difficult.  Line ups start before 11:45 on Sunday's for dim sum; arrive early or after 13h30.

We always go to Tong Por to eat. The food is always delicious and the service isn't too bad. But yes but, last night December 26, 2022 we ordered take out. We had a few plates as always but my two teenager boys are the only ones who ate the fried rice. I woke up to my youngest son throwing all night. Then my oldest son throwing up. As s mother and you can't do anything except hold the bucket breaks my heart. Who else had this the same thing happen to them. I am so mad I want to go back and give them a piece of my mind.

I was not happy with the way this restaurant runs.  We were a party of 6 visiting from Vancouver, and one of our friends lived here in Montreal, so she recommended this place. The food was decent even though the service was slow. I totally understand it because it was a busy restaurant; however I did not like the way one of the waiter treated us the way we paid our tips. He insisted that all dishes were not charged with taxes, so that we need to pay more in terms of tips. My understanding is that tips are optional and the amount of tips I am willing to pay really depends on the experience I have received from the service. During the conversation, he hinted that we were new to Canada, and did not know the tradition of tipping culture in Canada. I found this rather offensive, as we were not new immigrants, and have lived in Vancouver for more than 20 years. I would not come back to this restaurant ever again.

Love it here. Really great place to go for brunch. Food is delicious and staff is friendly and very quick.  Heads up: The area is crazy busy at noon so it's hard to find parking. If you can go a bit before or after the lunch rush.

One of the few places that serves dim sum.  It's probably the best in town.  Can't speak for the evening or full course meals but the dim sum was good.  Waiters are on their game, and overall the service was good.
