A nice spot for inexpensive Japanese food. It’s not great, but it’s not bad. Food is priced fairly for the quality. Good middle-of-the-road fish is used in the sushi, but the rice was a touch stale. The karaage had a nice spicy kick in the sauce. We enjoyed the tempura. The Goma-ae spinach with peanut sauce was just okay. We wouldn’t go out of our way to dine here, but if you’re in the neighbourhood it’s an acceptable option.
We jokingly call this place "gas station sushi", but it's really just a sushi restaurant attached to a gas station. They have online ordering, which makes it really easy. This is hands down the best sushi in the area! The Lion King roll is a must try. It's delicious and will single-handedly bring me back for more. The California roll was average. The spicy salmon roll would be better if the spicy sauce was mixed in, rather than just squirted on top, in my opinion.
One of my favorite sushi places EVER! I used to go here all the time when I had a friend who lived in Aldergrove. I haven't been here in 2 years but it's just as good as ever! The ladies who work here are super sweet and lovely. Service is always prompt and very fast! I always get the same thing, spicy tuna karaage and the ichiban roll. I have never seen a single other sushi restaurant make tuna karaage, it's usually always chicken! Fantastic food, I wish it wasn't so out of the way for me now! I will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area!
It's next to a gas station which is usually but I was really impressed by the quality!!! I got the sushi combination which was great value for the price. I loved the nigiri sushi. Not a lot of rice on the roll which I liked. But the California roll does not look like the usual California rolls that are served at restaurants. Still very tasty! Would come back especially for the salmon nigiri.
I saw someone else say they joke about calling this place gas station sushi and we do too but it is so good!!! Prices are very reasonable, staff are very friendly and most importantly food is delicious and potions are appropriate. One of my faves.Recommended dishesCombo Special, Beef Teriyaki, Prawn Tempura
A pleasant sushi joint. Their prices are great. The chopped scallop roll was great, lots of eggs in there. The lion king Roll was nice. Pretty much a dynamite roll with chopped scallops on top with spicy mayo dressing. As you can see, I enjoy scallops and ebi. Overall, a good bang for the buck.

A very surprising experience. Was not sure what to expect from a sushi store in a gas station but thought we’d give a try. I’m glad we did. Some of the best sushi I’ve had recently. The options were many and the presentation, preparation, and taste was out of this world. Highly recommend.

Exquisite and Delicious. I am a new comer to aldergrove and to be honest I have been very satisfied with this one dish. That one dish is indescribable but to my taste it has been the most delicate dish I have ever had in British Columbia. How could this one dish taste so different from other restaurants? With that question in mind I always go back to this restaurant. The spicy salmon crunch roll is the name. I have been tired of eating sushi in my neighborhood but this restaurant has brought back my love towards sushi. Thank you Tomo Sushi.
