Tommies Jerk

Great customer service from Tommie with affordable and large portions! Their jerk chicken was flavourful and tasty, but their beef and pork were on the drier side and less flavourful. All dishes were quite spicy, perfect for spice lovers. The pineapple lemonade was quite sweet but still refreshing. Overall a good experience!

Was there for the first time about 2 wks ago, I drove all the way from after work. I was the last customers on that day. Store closed 1 hr before closing time. I wanted a chicken but it was sold out : I was sad because I was so looking forward to it after trying the sample for the first time at Surrey Fusion Festival and has never forgotten the taste! I didn’t want to go home empty stomach so I was willing to take anything that is available. The owner gave me beef instead and refused my payment! I was touched by his super friendly personality and service. Love the Smokey burritos! Great spice and value with generous amount of meat as well as tasty salsa. I hope it stays that way without raising the price! Will be back again tomorrow bringing 2 more guests from overseas to try the burritos! I can’t wait to be there again!

Amazing, spicy, authentic Jamaican food in good sized portions for a reasonable price!! If you have trouble with spice, be sure to bring your grown-up pants because the flavors are worth the pain...although an option for mild would be good our 2 yo loves curries and spices, but this was way too potent for her. The pineapple lemonade was really good, the peas and rice with chicken was SO TASTY, and the jerk chicken burrito will be enjoyed later when we've recovered from the rice and peas Definitely glad we drove 25 min off our route to try his food.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! We had the spicy beef and Jerk chicken burritos. Packed well, and straight from flavor town. Good spice and taste. Food tasted like it was made with soul and heart. Tai was great to meet and will be seeing us much more. Pictures to follow

This place is truly a hidden gem. Food was absolutely delicious. Found this place on google maps randomly and thank goodness I gave it a try. The burritos were massive and full of flavour. Tried both the jerk chicken and jerk beef and both are amazing. I’ll have to try their other menu items next time. Tommie was a really nice and genuine guy as well, super passionate about his food and makes you feel very welcome. Make sure you catch them early on Friday/Saturdays!

I love this place! The jerk chicken burrito was amazing and the portion was very filling. We also ordered the rice bowl and that was one of our favorites. The drinks pineapple and strawberry lemonades are refreshing and tasty. I agree with another reviewer that the beef and pork were a little dry, but I would still give this place 5 stars just order the chicken....you will not regret it. The service is wonderful, and Tobias owner is so friendly.

I haven't had amazing Jamaican food since moving here from Toronto. We tried a jerk chicken burrito and had a few mixed beef and chicken salads. All of it was really spicy and flavorful, and the portions were really generous. We also tried a mango tea and a strawberry lemonade; both were delicious. Tommie was also extremely hospitable; his personality and presence made for a really fun and laid back experience. Love it; we'll definitely be back. Ps: we were too excited about the food so we forgot to take photos before eating.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about this place and I finally tried it. Both dishes I got were flavourful and delicious. Well-spiced and very fresh and unlike Chipotle, the burrito wasn’t full of rice. The amount of chicken/beef you get puts other burrito places to shame. Super fresh tasting ingredients - I love the mango salsa! Portions are huge, I got several meals out of my dinner. Hours are limited but definitely recommend trying it if you’re nearby!

This guy was SO nice! Just friendly and helpful. It was our anniversary and he was singing and smiling. What customer service! My husband pretty much inhaled that burrito. I loved my chicken nachos. And the lemonade So gooooood. Mmmhmmm Made this Cajun girl happy. This is the hidden food gem every city deserves.

I showed up JUST before they were about to close, and Tommie was so kind and took our order anyways! First of all, it’s refreshing to see someone so funny and passionate about their food. I’ve yet to receive that level of service from restaurants with 1000+ reviews. The food: I ordered the jerk burrito and lemonade. You HAVE to get a drink! The burrito was LARGE, and addictivly spicy and delicious. I kept eating even though my my was on fire with all the flavours! It has this delicious sweet taste, I think it was mango? Freaking brilliant! The portion size is big too. When Tommie says “ton of meat”. Lemme tell ya, it’s a nice portion of meat. This man doing the gods work. Honestly want this place to flourish, the food is soooo good! I think the spice might be much for some, but this is JAMAICAN FOOD! Pull your pants up and come try it just once! The prices: are MORE than fair. I don’t see anyone getting this much food and GOOD, DELICIOUS food! Dislikes: the lemonade, as delicious as it was, was a bit too sweet. I’d like to see a reduced sugar option.
