The pizza here is amazing. I was struggling to save a few pieces to bring home. It was absolutely delicious. I bought a large veggie pizza. It came with a lot of toppings and the crispy cheese on the edges was soooo good. This place is inside the Lakehead Beer Co. The atmosphere is great. You can place your order then you get some kind of fob like thing that buzzes to alert you to your order. I definitely recommend this place.
Not a sit down style restaurant but after you place your order you can find a table at the adjoining brewery without a problem. Homemade pizza made right there. I’m not a crust girl but their crust is amazing. It has a sourdough taste and texture to it. We had a margherita and pierogi pizzas, along with fried pickles. All were delicious. Probably the best fried pickles I’ve ever had. Yum!
Delicious filling pizza and interesting sides. We were travelling from Toronto and got takeout here for dinner. They are open late Sunday and accept pickup orders on Skip the Dishes. The ambience seemed really cool, they had large picnic tables outside so you could eat with a large group outdoors. The takeout order was packed well into three separate containers. We got the ezzo pizza small, arancini side, and hot honey buttermilk chicken side. The pizza was super chewy and delicious. The small size comes with 4 slices which was very filling for two of us. The arancini side came with 6 balls which was more than we expected and the flavours were savoury and interesting. The buttermilk chicken was a little dry because we didn’t want the chipotle mayo with it so I’d definitely order a different dip with it next time. The hot honey flavour was so yummy and it wasn’t too spicy and they do not drench the chicken in it so definitely recommend trying the flavour. I definitely recommending trying this place for the pizza and interesting sides.
Seriously good Detroit style pizza. Amazing toppings and the most incredible crispy cheese crust. Seriously good pizza. Top quality ingredients, and the fluffiest yet crispiest crust you'll ever eat. Grab a beer, set up at the pool table, and get a pizza, and the vibes are GOOD.
I’d have given a 4 star if I would’ve gotten some cutlery or napkins for my delivery order but I didn’t. Got a Greek salad which was decent, the honey hot chicken bites were really really good. The pizza was pretty good but not super fresh tasting..not a whole lot of pepperoni on it, maybe that’s how it normally is. I feel like having it delivered by skip the dishes may have made the quality worse than it normally is. Overall it was solid I’ll probably try it in person next time. For future reference, whether it’s take out or delivery I’d just toss in some cutlery and napkins.
Best pizza I've ever had in Tbay childhood 90's Pizza Hut buffet included! Crispy n' crunchy outside, soft and buttery inside, with lots of high quality toppings. Finally- something that rivals a Prince Street slice here!
I Love Pizza and I am so happy I found this place. Sad that it’s a 17 hour drive from home but 100% will visit every time I’m in Thunder Bay. Easy to order ahead then take it into the attached brewery and devour with a pint. The deep fried pickles were also excellent.Food: 5/5
Parking is tricky. Bathrooms are cool and clean. Restaurant is shared space with brewery.
Delicious pizza and a fun atmosphere. We were visiting from the u.s. and someone had recommended this place. Definitely worth a stop if you like pizza. They also have delicious salads. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
Great Detroit style deep crust pizza. Onion rings are great too. It can be very busy there and hard to find a seat, also not super kid friendly. Prices are high but worth it.Food: 5/5
