Another great Italian restaurant in Prague. Food was very fresh. Prices very good for the location. Near Wenceslas Square near Henry's tower.
Very tasty pizza, prices are normal - 200 -280 CZK. Tiramisu was not like the classic, it seems, the cream is not based on Mascarpone. The interior is interesting, the service was quite fast. However, tips were included in the check, which I do not warn about in advance, I think this is bad practice, so 4.
My boyfriend and I were in Prague for the first time for three days, we found good reviews on this one and decided we’d stop by for dinner as we were in old town square already - we were starving and the food came a lot slower than expected but it was worth it The best pasta and pizza place by far !! The ambience and the wait staff are so good, prices are worth it. It was so good we went back here on the second day. We had Czech white wine, 2 kinds of penne pasta, veg pasta, tiramisu and cider. No photos of food because we were mad hungry both times. Must visit
Excellent food at good prices, and only a very short walk from the tourist traps nearby where you will pay much more. When we visited it was busy but not over crowded. We had pizza and calzone and both were large and really tasty. Staff spoke English and we very pleasant and attentive. I think we may go back and eat there again tonight!
Overall ambience of the restaurant was really good. Staff was friendly and speaking in English. I ordered Rissotto Funghi looking so good, but Rissotto was super salty like they had put salt in it 4 times. Rissotto was super disappointing. I also ordered Bruschetta and that was good. Hot chocolate was looking good as well.
Super food, like the pasta the service was great they are friendly
Although we didn't tried the pizza, we did ordered tomato soup, salad, pasta, salmon and tiramisu for dessert. All of those dishes were excellent! The atmosphere is good, services is fast and also good. Prices are reasonable. One thing made it 4 and not 5 stars was the partly cold partly hot tomato soup maybe warmed in a microwave, but it was still very good soup.
If you want an authentic Italian restaurant, not a chain then this is the place. Situated just off the main tourist area, this charming little restaurant provides the best pasta/pizza dishes in Prague at affordable prices.Food: 5/5
Excellent Italian-style traditionally decorated restaurant. The main courses are well presented and substantial, and although they do serve a great selection of individual pizzas, it ies NOT a pizzeria like Domino's or Pizza Express. We had pollo alla cacciatore and medallions of pork with grilled vegetables and fries. Everything was cooked very well and all tasted fresh. The meals and wine came to a very reasonable but not cheap bill. Recommended.
I was in the Green Tomato probably 8 years ago and the food was excellent from the Italian chef. I came here today for my favourite Spaghetti Carbonara and the food was totally different because they don't use pancetta but cheap "English" bacon from local shops, they are adding cream there, instead of basilica there's parsley and you even have to ask for the cheese on top, I'm not sure if it was parmesan, omg The only positive factor were pleasant waitresses. Don't go there
