Had the opportunity to stop at this little gem when driving from Ottawa to Toronto. We needed to gas up and ended up in Madoc. We googled ice cream and this didn't even come up! Luckily the McDonalds down the road did but the line was out the door and it was a blistering hot day, so a local told us about Tom's. We came by and even this place had a line, but it moved pretty fast. They use locally grown Kawartha ice cream and have several different flavors of cones or can offer cups. There are also smoothies, frozen yogurt and other desserts available, and year round went in August 2019 so summer they sell Christmas themed items as the name suggests. The ice cream was great as was the service!
Friendly service, clean establishment, great selection of delicious ice cream amd shakes. We visited twice while staying during our week-long stay in the Madoc area. You've got to try this place!
