My daughter in law and 7 yr old granddaughter were involved in a serious crash this morning on rt 30 that sent them to the hospitals. I want to thank all fire dept personnel that responded so quickly and got my precious girl and her mom out and to the hospital quickly. I think they will both come home tomorrow and I'm sorry to hear about the driver that hit them.
So the Tolland “Fire Chief” wanted to ID me and tried to accuse me of things while I was sitting in the public parking lot. I was just parked there to use my phone to look for directions to somewhere. If this is how the department operates, then I would say they’re very unprofessional. Not friendly towards visitors, I guess.
Went to the fall open house and had a blast with our little guy who is 2. All the firemen were so nice and showed the kids around all the equipment!
Be forewarned that they charge you $450 for them to just come out and they don’t tell you. Plus having to call 2 times before someone actually showed up. Absolutely ridiculous for a VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
