Such a cute shop, basically a Japanese dollar store, although most things are about $3. Mostly office supplies, housewares, personal items. Everything is so cute! And there's free tea when you walk in!
I was pretty excited to check out the store. Although there's a lot of fun and cute items that were useful I bought a pair of kitchen scissors and a cutlery organiser for 6 bucks, I felt like the range of items could be better. I was hoping for more varieties of fountain pens or gel pens.
Absolutely love this place! They offer a wide variety of Japanese products for the size of the store. They have a really good snack selection, as well has many useful home items. I especially like their stationary section as it has unique items I haven't found anywhere else for a really good price. The staff is also very friendly and helpful and there's always free tea and snack samples being offered.
Very cute restaurant I liked it, had a lot of cool kitchen gadgets which was pretty cool also had cool candy that's I loved so much
A great place to pick up little things like kitchen accessories and cute china! They also have a decent selection of Japanese snacks. Low prices for small items you can't really find anywhere else!
This is my new favorite store in Ottawa. The products are really cute, cheap and straight from Japan. They always have free samples of food. They offered me a 10% discount for liking their Facebook page.
Expected more. I went in with excitement but left with disappointment. The shop does not really have any exciting items or products, but lots of generic low value household items. Most of the stuff, such as snacks is quite expensive and "dollar store" would be an inaccurate reflection of the prices. Interesting concept though, I hope they do grow and improve.
To call it a dollar store is a bit of a stretch, since everything costs $2 or more, but it has a great selection of Japanese snacks, drinks, dishes, and other fun items like tote bags, bento containers, and even some basic clothing items. Well worth a look.
I came across this little shop purely by accident while walking to a different destination. The store name had me intruiged so I ended up taking a look. They offer various japanese goods but items are things you would expect to find in a regular convenience store. I liked their selection of candies and snacks as they were most extensive than some asian supermarkets like T&T or Kowloon which focus more on chinese goods than japanese. I picked up a few drinks, ramune candy and this woven bamboo basket that would have cost at least double or tripple the amount they sold it for anywhere else for a gift basket like winners/homesense or walmart. The prices for some things are a bit pricier than something you would find in a superstore but its way cheaper than if you were to order these goods online through a japanese website trust me, I've tried.... Its an interesting place to check out if you're in the area : I'll be coming back to see what else they have as i was rushing a bit today.
The people working there are so nice. They offer free samples all the time. It is probably the best place to purchase Japanese snacks in Ottawa with the most varieties!
