We really enjoyed Tokyo House. The sushi was good and the service was great despite having a sign posted that they were short staffed. The place was clean and had a nice ambiance. My favourite was the summer roll pictured with the kiwi on top, very sweet with unexpected ingredients. Would definitely recommend this place.
Good food, friendly service. Some items on the menu are not common to see. Very good place,but somehow shorted my order.
This is coming from a person who does not like sushi so please don't attack me. However, I did try some sushi again here and so far the sushi was best in town over here. The menu is pretty big and does have so many other options. I wish there was better option for a la carte here.
I visited few months ago, service is amazing and food very good! Totally recommended such a great quality for the price you pay.
Great food presentation and preparation. When I was there, they never used old oil. This resulted in all of their fried items coming out golden and crispy, and never oily/soggy and burnt. Attentive staff and great service. Decent quality food. Would come again.
This is the only all you can eat sushi spot in Thunder Bay. This beats Sushi Station in terms of quality. I just find this place was short staffed and had to wait awhile.
Only thing was dim lighting. Fish very tasty and fresh. Our server was helpful and courteous. Would definitely go back hope they are still open next time we are in Thunder Bay. Parking: At back of building.
Tokyo House is a Thunder Bay staple. Unfortunately, due to short-staffing issues, they are currently functioning at reduced capacity of 12 dine-in patrons at a time and no large groups. Full menu no buffet tho and good service. Price hiked to 40 for AYCE adult. We ate our fill and it was good.Food: 5/5
The receptionist /manager who took me to the table was so rude and he made me feel that I am not welcomed. I actually felt that he hates me and hates everyone in the restaurant lol. I hope he can work on his attitude by taking a workshop or something. I and my family will never come again because of him and his rudeness.
Refused to bring us all the items we ordered at the same time. While we were waiting the waitress wouldn't even let us see a menu. She said "I'll bring it after you finish your first order", but they were so slow that they wouldn't bring us what we ordered. Then the waitress didn't refill our water, even after we asked : They also brought us King crab meat on cucumber. Why? Didn't look like the picture on the menu at all, not in a roll, very dissapointing.
