Was parked at Kipling station and decided to grab some sushi from this place as it was close by. Got the 128D Maki combo that came with spicy salmon, spicy tuna, dynamite roll, and side salad and miso soup. Sushi was nicely packed and everything tasted great. They are not open for dine in and they have blocked out the whole restaurant pretty much with a long table lol. Anyway I think that’s a good Covid safety measure, not gonna complain.
I usually don’t love or crave suchi but this place made me LOVE and crave them. They’re very flavourful, big & fresh. The wasabi & ginger tasted very good/fresh and strong. I believe I’ve ordered #52 Golden roll & #53 Dynamite roll.
I ordered the sashimi, sushi, and maki combo b. The presentation of the food was pretty. The food tasted good. Service was quick. No dine in option at this time. I will be coming back another day. Parking: There is limited parking. Some construction is taking place on the corner of the parking lot.
Amazing sushi, very fresh and tasty. Customer service was great, ordered through Uber eats and was extremely satisfied. We will be returning customers!
Don't be scared by the prices, they more than earn their pricetag. Time to receive was standard, but the quality and presentation was excellent. I highly recommend this place.
Ordered sushi and a poke bowl and it was terrible. The shrimp tempura in the sushi tasted old, hard, and dried out as if it was not made fresh. The rice was dried out as well and stale tasting and the ginger looked like it was a week old and definitely not fresh.
I have only had rolls here so far, so I will update this rating when I try other offerings. But compared to a number of other sushi places I have tried in Etobicoke, this place is pretty good. The flavours were well combined, rice was not too gummy, the salmon in the roll was not chewy. But the cucumber is a bit much, and the neon green of the wasabi seems a bit odd to me. Overall I enjoyed it and think it is worth a second visit. Oh and miso was fairly standard - flavourful enough but not really standing out in any way. I actually enjoyed the simple iceberg and wafu-like dressing for the salad even if a bit heavily dressed. Update: ate here again and found it very unappetizing, particularly any rolls with tempura shrimp - the shrimp and batter were hard, thick, and rubbery. Tasted over cooked in old oil. Ruined more than one ‘special’ roll. Not the most flavourful rice either.
Absolute Gem ! Ordered the Philly hand roll & Spicy Salmon. Hands-down winners So much more to order...
Did an excellent job on the takeout. Clean rolls, fresh, tight rice and great portions. Soy comes in the disposable cups. Wasabi and ginger were fresh and strong. Overall I would order again.
The best sushi in Etobicoke and overall one of the best I’ve ever had. The ingredients are fresh and flavourful. Very authentic, and kind owners. Food is always made in a good amount of time too. Definitely will keep coming back!
