Wanted to try a new place other than famous franchise so drove 20 mins to Sherwood to try something local. It was busy around 2pm.. it was hard to decide from the menu as they have most options with meat however things can be customized. Serving sizes were decent and plating was average. Food 6/10.. I think if I cook at home I can maybe make similar or better food. Pricing is above average when compared to the food they offer. Coffee was good and you get free refills so that was nice. Friendly staff, there was a lady - very energetic. The restaurant closes at 3pm so you might want to plan accordingly.
This place definitely has a lovely breakfast and brunch menu full of classic choices you'd expect like eggs bennies, omelettes, pancakes, and breakfast poutines. I was excited to come here because of its name, toast, as I am an avid toast/bread lover. I got the California omelette that came with hash browns and 2 slices of bread. It really was just regular slices of whole wheat bread-very average. For a restaurant named toast I don't know why I was expecting something different or special about the toast so I think that did make me a tad disappointed.nnThe omelette tasted fine, but kind of bland. Hashbrowns were fine. Honestly ketchup really saved the day. It came out to be a very average but positive brunch experience.
Not much to say about this place. I ordered a pretty standard breakfast. Bacon was chewy and generic, the fried eggs had no seasoning, I get it, there is salt and pepper on the table but I figured there would be some form of seasoning on the eggs. The hash browns were decent.
I finally tried Toast and I will definitely be back. I had an omelette and it was delicious! My mom loved the avocado toast and made me promise that we will return. The only issue that we had is that it was loud and my dad had trouble hearing. We might try the patio seating next time.

The fried Irish bread is the one I could eat again and again.nnI would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable breakfast experience.
