They have a killer pulled chicken sandwich here that was fantastic. The lady at the truck gave me a free sample of the ribs and she, along with everyone else working here, were very friendly. It's a nice neighborhood place. 5/5.
They have some good bbq the sides are on point also! The dessert is a must try also. Hit them up if you haven't already.
I visited today after smelling it for weeks. : I got a half rack of ribs, fries, and mac and cheese. Five good meaty bones with a tangy sauce, and a great portion of sides. friendly, welcoming people + terrific food, and great portions at a fair price + close to my house = I'll be eating more BBQ. Delicious!
Alright, for context, I'm originally from Mississippi, just south of Memphis, TN. Got pulled pork from here while I was waiting at the vet across the street. This is the best barbecue I've had in Michigan!
Pulled pork was awesome. Fried okra was delicious. Husband let me have some of his rib tips and macaroni salad and it was great too but I'd get the pulled pork again. Awesome food!
Website says they open at 11am. Showed up at 12pm, weren't open. Called at 12:30pm, no answer. Showed up again around 1pm, still weren't open. I was excited to try this place but the lack of customer service and direction on how to order and when has definitely turned me away.
When I have the opportunity to treat myself, I do it here. Delicious and more than fairly priced. Great people.
