I rarely give a place a 5 * rating. The 2 waffle cones were very good. Ice cream all the way to the bottom. There was a lineup as well. That spoke volumes.
Good ice cream. I'd like to order sundaes there but they are way too big. They should have 2 sizes. If they add a smaller size sundae I'll give them 5 stars.
Love Tj’s ice cream! They have shaved ice that reminds me of the ones I’ve tried in Hawaii. They just need to add condensed milk onto their menus as an add-on and it’ll be *chef’s kiss*
Best soft serve ice cream in Thunder Bay. Vanilla, chocolate and swirl, dips too. Be warned, Large size is not meant for mere mortals, try small or medium.
Owner was super rude to me and my friend, went to Tim’s for food came to tjs for icecream had to wait till 12 for them to be open so sat at the patio, anyways owner comes out yells at us for sitting on the patio. Super angry and mad for no reason. Was gonna be my first time trying this place but nope not ever coming back.
We visited TJ’s twice while on vacation in Thunder Bay. The first time we ordered shaved ice and got a larger than expected portion. It was tasty and what we expected. The second time the cashier got our order completely wrong and one of us left disappointed. The soft serve was great but the scooped ice cream was disappointing and didn’t feel homemade to us. It was overly sweet and did not live up to reviews. If you’re coming here expecting the level of quality that you’d get at a local mom and pop ice cream store where everything is lovingly hand-made you’ll end up disappointed.
Friendly staff, lots of choices, good flavors. Line is long but service is fast and efficient.

Omg!! So amazing! Only issue I have is it's only open in summer. It is also a small kinds hidden place on author but I no where it is so I'm okay with that. There was abit of a line but was super super fast anf prices were phenomenal! Now to the icecream! It was a good sized list of different varieties and they have lots of options on how you gonna get it in to ya belly to! This is a must in summer do yourself a favor and treat your self to a tjs ice cream you won't regret it
Polite staff, helpful, flavors all outlined on a huge board, soft to hard ice cream milkshakes, giant cookies, shaved ice and lots of dips, syrups. Fast service great place to get a cold dessert on a hot day.
