This is a great little food truck in the middle of Scotia Square , there is no other, absolutely no other food truck in Scotia Square : If you’ve made a commitment to increase your belly size - this is the food truck to go to - huge portions!!! I had an Asian steak french fry bowl with garlic aolie sauce delicious!!! If you like this review give me a thumbs up
Best fish and chips I've had in a very long time. The filet was thick and beautifully cooked, the batter was shattery crispy. Not greasy, just delicious. Although in a mall, the food court is new, airy and with large windows. It was quite pleasant there. Highly recommended for a quick lunch. I'm leaving Halifax very happy I got to eat there. Just absolutely yummy. Very memorable lunch!
Delicious food and good prices. Convenient location and utilizes the Ritual App which is nice! This was the chicken meal which is quite filling and bigger than it looks in the picture.
I was very impressed! I went in with no knowledge other than the universal benediction of : ~ not McDonald's~ and I was pleasantly blown away. I got the fish and chips special, the batter had some tumeric in it and was delicious. The tartar sauce was a non-trad flavour explosion. The fries are steak cut and crispy, would recommend for the vinegar selection alone. Keep up the great work!
Ate here for the first time today. Wow! Great fries and steak, tender and flavourful. They served the best poutine I've had since being back in Halifax in balancing the curds, fries, and gravy. This couple is rightfully proud of their food.
After hearing many good things about this place I expected better. Especially for being a fry frites place. I've tried two different menu items on two different occasions. Their cheese sauce was grainy and bland tasting, and their fries were very inconsistently cooked. Most were highly uncooked, though, the ones that were cooked were very tasty so I'll give them that. Their gravy is tasty, but doesn't melt the cheese curds. And a poutine needs melted curds! Again, I experienced uncooked fries like the first time, though, there wasn't as many. I would like to give their steak skewers a shot but I'll pass on their fries and poutine options moving forward.
Let's ignore the awesome staff, fantastic owner, great atmosphere, and generally superior food for a second to focus on one thing - their top-tier Spicy Chicken Burger. This is, hands down, the best chicken burger I have ever eaten. I won't do it justice in this review; do yourself a damned favor and get one.
Their poutine is amazing! Real cheese curds that stretch when you bite them and a flavorful gravy. The fries are cut in store and thick, lightly seasoned but not too salty.
Ordered steak frites for lunch and was SO impressed by the quality. So flavorful and reasonably priced. I'll be back!
This was the best fish and chips I've ever had not greasy at all great taste and the fries were really good . Great cheap prices and everything overall was super good .
