It's a small airport with some nice people working there. Only 4 stars because of the unusual delays, but perhaps there's a good reason.
Comfortable local airport, have been here several times. grandfather George Charity also stored his homebuilt here for a while. the lounge display contains some of his bush plane pictures.
It's an airport. It's small. Don't expect food beyond a vending machine. Security was quite friendly. Other staff fairly average. The layout is a little odd, so i had to confirm when and where I should be going a couple times. Interestingly, while I checked on at the counter, nearly everyone waited to go through security until 40-50 minutes before the flight. People who aren't flying are currently not supposed to enter the airport.

Nice little airport, great staff, straight forward and to the point.
I arrived in timmins from a flight from Toronto, I had to stay another nite because their was a storm in Tim’s. Of coarse we have to pay for that ourselves because of weather. My beef is they could not even shovel a little path from the plane to the door. And in the parking lot, everyone was getting stuck cause they couldn’t even plough in their a bit. Cost me $45 for that. Was totally not impressed
A very small airport. Was treated poorly by the bag search "officer". Was accused of smuggling oranges, though I had no fruit with me. As far as I know, oranges are allowed on a domestic flight. None of this would be a problem if he had been polite about it. This was my second flight and it wasn't a very good experience.
Pulled through security twice to weigh a jacket and missed my flight.
Crowdy, a bit cozy For an airport with a big city and mediocre washroom cleaning service. But the chairs are at least well taken care of and comfortable Also on the plane, vending machines give quite a variety of food and the room you wait in before boarding the plane have 2 televisions with a news channel. So depending how long you have to stay there, it's not a bad experience.
