This spot was an essay 5star. From the minute I walked in I knew it was going to be a great time. I've never been Axe Throwing so we had a coach help us out for a few throws which was great. Then she set us up with a group tournament which was awesome. The drinks were all New Scotland which were delicious, and we hit up the restaurant and gift shop afterwards to round out the night!
What an amazing experience axe throwing with a group of friends. We had never done it before and had an absolute blast! Staff are mega friendly and helpful, with lots of tips and laughs had. Would defo recommend, and any local to the area there is a league you can sign up to. Thank you!
We had such a great experience. A group of 12 adults, with two lanes split between us. The guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
Cool woodsie vibe, the couches walked me through the throwing and it was really fun Remember to make a reservation in advance and order food when you reserve. They order food from an outside kitchen and need time like a few days to make sure they have what you want.
This place is a really good time. Very rough interior, as it is intended, as the whole focus is on the axe throwing. Great staff, wonderful trainers, and a unique experience. Our department had one of our socials there and I think everyone had a good time. We had the event catered and that’s the only thing I wouldn’t rate highly. You could break your teeth on the rock-hard bread, and the food selection was just average, but I don’t think people come here for the food.
Timber is amazing! With a minimum group booking of 6 people, you show up, sign a waiver, pay your fee then meet your coach who explains the rules, gives you helpful tips and scores your session amongst your friends and fun is exceptional. There's a bar for drinks and food and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. I've been here twice and can't wait to go back. This place is ideal for office parties, friends night out or bachelor parties. Highly recommended.
Great first experience here at Timber Lounge. Went here with a small party for a little birthday celebration and we had a blast. Throwing axes is no joke and it's a bit of learning curve to nail the momentum and the timing but the staff that was there to help us were totally awesome and encouraging. I really look forward to my next visit here!
Awesome times to be had! A little pricey at $35 per person, but well worth the fun. Great place to go as a date or with a group. Some good finger food and drinks! They're also expanding so hopefully they'll be able to take more groups!
I was really thinking about getting into the sport. My wife and I went down on the weekend after 2 practice throws the coach proceeded to yell in my face how I was throwing to hard and that I wasn’t listening and I should be kicked out. Absolute disgrace how he treated our group should be fired immediately
Had a great time here. Excellent beer selection and a lot of fun to be had throwing axes. The axe coaches were friendly and helpful, and we had a really good time. Can't wait to do it again.
