Snowmobile right from the cabin. With over 500 miles of groomed trails, this is a winter paradise! The Flambeau Trails system is perfect for ATV enthusiasts with approximately 55 miles of trails. Cross country skiing is also popular in the Butternut area.
Being next to Butternut Lake means you can enjoy fishing, swimming, boating, and sunbathing. If you plan to visit us in the fall, be prepared for the beautiful and vibrant autumn colors along with hunting opportunities. Hiking trails galore! Did you know that Butternut Lake is a 1,006 acre Class A muskie lake? Fishing any time of the year means catching muskie, walleye, crappie, perch and a variety of other different fish species.
At the resort we offer pontoon rentals. Rent the pontoon for half the day, full day or full week. Cabin time here means spending time exploring Butternut Lake.
