AMAZING food in the middle of nowhere. Everyone in my party loved their meals including mine. I had the mashed potatoes with crispy chicken, gravy and corn. It’s like KFC famous bowl but 10x better! Mashed potatoes were obviously not the fake flakes of potatoes. You can tell it’s real. My friend ordered the sausage with mashed potatoes Bangers & Mash and he said it was also fantastic. For a small town like Mitchell, you would never expect such high quality food. 100/10 recommend!
Love this place! Food is bomb! They have 6 beers on tap. For such a small town, this place is a should get a 10 star rating. Putting it on my favorite places to stop. Add this place as the place to eat at after or before seeing the painted hills or even better get their sandwiches to go! If you are reading this, you are probably not there because there is no service. I think having no service adds to its charm! Wait time was about 10 min, which is amazing when you have two toddlers. Sorry for not the best picture of the food but it was that good! Pastrami sandwich was gone in seconds!!
We had the best time eating here! Excellent food, interesting menu, and a welcoming environment. They make a terrific old-fashioned, too. Happened to get Eric one of the owners for a server. He was charming and funny. Great place to stop if you're visiting the Painted Hills or just driving through.
Mitchell is literally in the middle of nowhere but worth the trip. The whole town literally one main street has a funky down to earth feeling. What a pleasant surprise to find this gem.nnFirst we couldn't believe all the options on the menu, I think they had everything except pizza. We split the fish and chips, delicious! As other people have commented the fries are flat and tasty, not as big as traditional English style chips but plentiful. The fish was well seasoned and the breading was not too thick. Emphasis on the fish. It was so good it was gone before I could take a photo.nnWe tried the Red Rye IPA and the Sutton Mountain IPA, both very good. The temperature was in the upper 40s so we didn't get to enjoy the outside patio, next time
Nice place to come and eat and relax after walking around the Painted Hills. Sat outside and fortunately had umbrellas on the table, from the hot sun June 2023. Cindi served took our order and was attentively.
