This is my second time here. I’ve been in there dine in and now take out. The sushi is good. I mean really good. And they don’t use a bunch of sea weed which I love. This time around I really got to see how good their customer service was while watching them make my rolls. One of the guys spoke to me the entire time I waited. We shared a laugh or 2 and most of all they were fast. I appreciate this spot, I’ll be back when in this town!
The dining room felt very utilitarian, and it's like the space was a spillover for when their main dinner hall is full. No one came to greet us when we first came to the door, and we had to keep walking in to find people working there to know what to do and sit. The place wasn't busy and only one wait staff working. The server was lukewarm at best. The food I got was Pho + brisket. It looked very plain and no typical garnishing accompanying with it like basil, bean sprouts and lime... etc. So the two noodle soups we got were fine but felt it was missing something...just not quite there for me.
Awful. Idk how the reviews are so high. Confusing entrance, no sign with the name and one entrance for takeout, the other is around the back for dining room with no hostess station or greeter. Totally bizarre. the waitress acted like we were interrupting her meal - she was eating between the 3 tables she was serving. She literally threw the to go container on the table and was SO unpleasant the whole time , the rolls were average at best, and the chicken was so greasy it made me feel sick afterwards. I ordered a coke and a can was plunked down on the table. The check is a QR code that you pay on your own. All in all, it's literally set up to have the least amount of service/interaction with your server. Definitely won't go back. There are much better places.
Fast and great service, salads with ginger dressing is really good. Portion sizes for Ramen are large, broth is delicious. I wouldn't recommend Ramen noodles as they seemed to be overcooked possibly? The noodles had sections that were clumped up together in a hard chewy way that was very appealing. The beef brisket that went with it was delicious and soft.
Had The Darkness ramen. Enjoyed everything about it. Generous portion for the chashu and the ajitama was perfect. Also had the wings both flavors and they were gone before I remembered to take a picture. Definitely come hungry.Dine in: Yes
Hot and spicy food! Nice sticky Japanese rice bowls with a variety of pork for protein the other white meat.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
My husband and I ordered for take out last night and everything was so good! Their darkness ramen tonkastu broth was killer almost addictive. I had to keep sneaking spoonfuls of the broth with my chasudon chasu rice bowl. The chasudon was pretty good, there was only 3 pieces of chasu over a very hefty bed of rice and some veggies. The bao buns were good just okay but nothing mind blowing. Their sushi was also good standard. Everything was very fair in terms of pricing and we’ll definitely be regulars here.
What a find! Excellent ramen in rural Granby! Simple small restaurant in shopping strip, sweet dining room, excellent service. We enjoyed the Buddha bowl and the Darkness. KFC chicken appetizer was fun. My son reports that the sushi rolls and bao buns are also great. Special attention to a peanut allergy at our table was also appreciated.
The food is delicious, we had pork ramen, seaweed salad and sushi, all the ingredients so fresh, highly recommend! BYOB, they had nice selection of teas and non alcoholic drinks. The dining area is stark, feels unfinished but who cares when the food is this good
Really good ramen! I recommend the pork belly buns. The sushi is very fresh and they use a lot of fish and little rice which makes it worth the price. This is probably the best ramen place in the area. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian ramen Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
