Tibet Shoppe celebrated 23 yrs in business this year in 2015. The Shoppe was set up to support and promote Tibetan culture that is lost in its native land of Tibet.
It specializes in everything Tibetan whether fashions and jewelry, handcrafted gifts, Buddhist artefacts, furnishings, handknotted pure wool rugs, books and music cds.

Amazing store! You can find amazing spiritual and traditional items. The lady was very nice and explained to us the history of Tibet and also their spiritual leaders.
Great service during the pandemic. I emailed Kalsang about pillow covers, and I was promptly sent photos of their selection, with descriptions and prices, and suggestions. They are offering curb-side pick-up. I love this shop's selection and service. Beautiful all around.
This is a beautiful and fantastic place to shop . Service excellent. Very clean and feel comfortable to shop. Price point good when you will visit you will find something that you like I think, if not for your self for a gift. shopkeeper is very friendly and acknowledge every one with a smile even me. Cheers
Tibet Shoppe is a family run store filled with culture and unique products from the Tibet and the Himalayas! Their business has been open for over 25 years! Great little shop to check out if you're ever in the Danforths' Greek town area right by Pape. By TTC, just hop off at pape station. They have a wide selection of incense, jewelry, meditation cushions/ singing bowls etc, along with helpful books and clothing!
When living in toronto between 2007 - 2020, I would visit this shop at their old location and the newer one on the danforth and was always welcome warmly by the owners with an open heart, no rush and lots of great anecdotal stories! The items are of very high quality and authentic craftsmanship and the range is incredible, from very affordable handrolled incense to the rare handloomed powerful Tiger rugs; regardless of what you choose, you are receiving blessings with the integrity of the work and the shop. I have gotten many items from the shop over time and they have served me impeccably on my path of compassion and oneness. Now when I can visit the city, I always try to pick up a few incense or a perfume oil, because being in the shop itself is enlightening. Blessings abound!!!! I am so happy this shop exists and I feel it is a gem whether you believe in Dharma or are just living it unaware.
One of my favourite places on earth. Kalsang and Galic and their daughter are wonderful. The art, incense, and singing bowl I've bought from them has made my home a calm and welcoming place. The clothing and jewelry I've bought is high quality and hand made, and you can tell it was crafted with care. I've become more aware of Tibetan culture and history since I started going there. Love these people, and love what they do.
The owners are very kind and helpful. The atmosphere was calming and beautiful. I found everything I needed and more. If you're looking for some genuine handicrafts from the Himalayas, you need to pay this shop a visit! Great for finding gifts as well. Price point is fair and parking is easy to find as it is on the Danforth and also free along the side streets.
This shop has extremely beautiful Tibetan clothing, decorative and religious items. In fact many of the items are hand made by Tibetan Craftsman for the sake of preserving Tibetan artistic traditions. I have known the owner of this shop Kalsang for many years and she has always been very helpful when it comes to her knowledge of Tibetan art and Tibetan Buddhism. She takes the time to answer your questions and makes sure you find exactly what you need. I always leave the store feeling very happy
The Tibet Shoppe is a treasure on the Danforth. The store contains many useful, interesting and exotic items but of higher value in stopping by are the owners. Both Escaped from Tibet at a young age and with them comes a wealth of knowledge and history in a present way not easily accessed in Canada. The Tibet Shoppe is not just a store with beautiful things, it is also a place of learning, health and compassion.
Has a good selection of Himalayan style wool, silk and cotton clothing from Nepal and Indiasome handcrafted by Tibetan artisans in India. Also carries rugs, meditation items, books and various Tibetan souvenirs. The owner is very welcoming and helpful.
