Thunder Bay Public Library's aka. Community Hubs are one of Thunder Bay's most inclusive, multi-cultural and diverse gathering places for local connection to information and each other. The Library offers several locations where community members, visitors & residents are welcomed with open doors, open mindedness and open hearts. The staff are very pleasant and professional, and willing to assist with all requests. There are spaces available for children's playtime and fantastic story worlds to explore. Research and study spaces permit students & clients access to excellent resources and public computers. Meetings, conferences and groups can gather at different locations for private functions. The physical locations as well as the online website access provide a plethora of reading for bibliophile and bibliomaniacs both. I give Thunder Bay Public Librarys 2 solid thumbs up
Came to the library specifically in search of Thunder Bay historic books to help scout out metal detecting spots in town. Ended up taking home about five. Was told the Brody St. location probably has more in terms of microfiches, records and the sort, so that will have to be my next stop.
Amazing...the front service person forgot to get her name was kind, polite and quick in setting my library card..explaining all the benefits ,whats happening, where to connect, what happens etc..the space is fantastic..good collections....I got a book to read...happy to have got the card...will be visiting the library often now....check them if you havent ...you can see the world through books..and build amazing relationships as well..
a smaller, quieter library.nndecent selection and friendly staff.nnmuch nicer than the original location.
Very helpful staff, fun play area for kids, great selection of books, very clean and tidy building. Great spot to play and read
