We are located inside of Holy Family Episcopal Church- upstairs on the north end, 115 Sixth Street. We help the community and proceeds are distributed to nonprofit community organizations.
The Thrift Shop began in 1933 on Riverside Ave. downtown St Clair. The Pollex Cleaners next door helped get it started.
When the downtown was changed in the late sixties for Urban Renewal, the Thrift Shop moved to St Paul's Episcopal Church. (Now named 'Holy Family Episcopal Church')
We are here to help the community by providing 'thrifty' items for sale as well as giving items to those in need and giving monetary donations back to local non-profit organizations.
We are always accepting donations: including monetary, teens, mens & women's clothing; jewelry, scarves & accessories; shoes, boots & purses; dishes, china & glassware; small household items, decorative items & artwork for the home :)
We are also always looking for more volunteers so that we may open the shop more hours. Stop in during business hours if you are interested- we'd like to talk to you.
We would also like to thank the many volunteers and donors that we have-- we are making a difference and HELPING OTHERS!
