This place is a family business with the whole family working together to support each other. The food is excellent quality and the lowest price in the Niagara region. The staff is always cheerfully serving each customer with respect and prompt service. If you go you will be amazed. You will never want to go anywhere else for your restaurant dinning experience because you will want to return again and again for their great tasting and best quality food for miles around. You will never regret following my advice because it's just great food
Highly underrated, personally this is a hidden gem in the heart of Thorold downtown. I am allergic to fish, however the fries are cooked in a separate fryer. The chicken is cut from the skewer then grilled to perfection, throw in some cheese and gravy in addition to their house made garlic sauce, you have a perfect combination for a heart-warming shawarma poutine. I highly recommend trying it. Their falafel wrap and shawarma wrap were also amazing, everything is cooked fresh to order, your food is not stale. Will be coming back more often.
The fish was all right. Not the greatest I've had. But I'm kind of biased being from Nova Scotia and used to eating fresh fish. The atmosphere of this place was a real downer. The owner sat in front of his laptop and stared at it all the while I was there. The girl who did the cooking was very timid, as if almost afraid to be working there.. 1st and last time I will ever visit
Have never stopped in before. We all decided to eat in as they have some seats. We ordered a haddock family meal for 4 adults and we had leftovers, lots of fish and fries. Wasn't a fan of the coleslaw. Table was dirty, so I requested a wipe down. Food was brought to our table and we all enjoyed it. Thanks!Food: 4/5
Fish and chips is one of the best I’ve had in the Niagara region. Very light batter and the fish burger is an excellent choice as well. Everything made fresh, so you have to wait a bit.
The best kepted secret in Thorold Delicious and generous portions. Best value fish and chips. Burgers and fries and more. We would order a 2 piece fish and chips, split the fries. We had more than enough for two. Best deal in town Kid-friendliness: They aim to please so just ask because they have plenty of choices a single fish and chips only $1199 with enough french fries to feed two kids Parking: Plenty of free parking on the street and across the street at the hydro one . There is a patio with tables and chairs very cosy and sheltered from bad weather. My every experience with different menu items left me wondering how can they sell their food at such low cost and yet be so good and plentiful.
Haddock serving was huge, tender and delicious. Batter was not too thick, which was good. Fries were frozen Cavendish Costco food court style, which were good but I prefer fresh cut with fish and chips.
Not the best fish and chips. Very oily and too much batter. Prices are reasonable i think from what i remember. Its been awhile since i went there. The workers in the back seemed like they were working very hard. Its just the fish and chips could've tasted better.
Fish sandwich was so light and delicious. My daughter had thr chicken burger and liked it. Onion rings were perfect. Fries were thick cut, unsalted which i prefer but did not ask for...perfectly fried. All so good!!
I’m absolutely in love with this restaurant! The customer service is of par excellence, and the food is great.
