Really fantastic food, great, large portions and extremely attentive staff. Servers knew their product and cared that the customers were happy. The owner was present and greeting all the patrons. Took the time to talk to everyone and make sure the food was good. Food was quick to come out and order was rapidly fixed when a dipping sauce was missing. Get the smoked apple crisp, good sized and great tasting. Good for sharing. As the show said... you gotta eat here.
So we visited here on a whim. We had the sampler and the buffalo chicken salad. In the sampler we chose ribs, wings and beef brisket. All of them were amazing, the beef brisket being my favourite. Our sides were beans and fries. My mom had the salad and I stole a few bites and it was pretty good. She said the chicken was a bit salty but expected as it had franks sauce and it was smoked. I would definitely go again. Our server Edna was the friendliest and bubbliest person you could meet. Honestly we would go back there just for her awesome personality and service. Definitely going here again and bringing all my friends.
Fantastic food and service, will certainly return. Got the chefs sampler platter and a side of cornbread. We've ate at many smoke houses and sometimes variety of sauces can leave you feeling icky, but this was not the case here. All meat was moist, with a nice smoked taste, not overbearing. Not stringy or fat. Chicken wings best I've had in a long time!
Food is really tasty, service is courteous, friendly and helpful. I had a grilled cheese with pulled pork and apple crumble with a home make smoked banana ice cream. Definitely I will go back any time soon
Food was absolutely amazing! Lots of meat and the flavours were so tasty! I could really taste the smokiness of everything. Customer service was also fantastic! They just reopened their door for indoor dining last Wednesday. Only point to improve would be to take one minute and vacuum/clean the bathroom fan… full of dust and almost clogged up.
Saw the ads on the billboard to Blue Mountain, it was worth a try. Love the crispy self-chopped non-frozen French fries, the white potatoes provides special texture. Tried the sampler, Beef brisket is tender and juicy, my favorite; Beans are soft with good sauce; also love the Smoked banana crisp ice cream, give these items 5 out of 5. Chicken wings are good, crispy outside, appropriate balance of sweet and salty, but not as juicy as expected, would give 4. Ribs are full of smoked flavors, balanced taste, not bad, but my personal preference is fall-of-the bone ribs, would give 4/5.
Just wow!!! 10/10 place definitely going to come back and tell all my friends about it We were visiting Collingwood for CrossFit competition from Toronto. Ordered 2 different burgers and brisket + dessert apple crumble with ice cream Meat is so fresh and delicious, you can taste the quality. They also make ice cream in house. Probably one of the best vanilla ice creams I’ve tried. We loved absolutely every single meal. My friends are very high maintenance when it comes to food but had no complaints here. Our server Tim was super friendly and helpful Looking forward for the next visit
Wonderful food and service! We were just here for first time. We got the sample platter and dessert apple crisp and banana ice cream, it was all delicious. All the staff were very kind and attentive, special shout out to Tori who was our server and was very knowledgeable with any questions we had or offering suggestions :
WOW!! I hardly eat meat in my day to day, and my husband swore I would love the meat here and that was an understatement… We got the pull pork sandwich and the pulled pork grilled cheese…FANTASTIC flavour, amazing staff! 10/10 will come here whenever in blue mountain!! Bravo!!
First time here and will definitely return! We got the sampler platter and the food was very, very good! Sauces for ribs and wings were incredible, and best sweet potato fries we’ve had-hands down!They were nice and crispy on the outside, yet soft in the middle. Server was very good, as were all the staff. Only reason we gave a 4 was because it was very tight in there; hard to move around and definitely not the place for private conversations. But, we would return in a heartbeat for the food and service!
