ThedaCare Physicians - Appleton North

I had an appointment for the first time with New Dermatology Group located @Encircle in Appleton. I was greeted very nicely by the receptionist. An LPN called me in the office, greeted me, & said his name as well. I was not seen by the Dr but by a PA, Meghan. She was friendly, professional, & explained everything. There was a biopsy done. The office room was clean. The PA said she would call with the results of the biopsy which she did. It was a good first time experience for me.

Great facility. All inclusive services. Very helpful and professional people through out the complex. I love that you can go to one place for your doctor and he/she has assess to all the testing services needed within the building. No running to one hospital for a test and then to another a second test. They take blood tests right in the exam room and have the results back to the doc by the end of your exam so the doc has a full picture of what is going on right then. No running back and forth waiting for test results. LOVE how they do things here!

Clean facility with friendly and helpful staff. Hustle and bustle patients streaming in and out of this place unless if you're early and beat all the traffic- usually a good sign: it means this clinic is active. The atmosphere is clean and professional. The Imaging Technician, Jayna (sorry for the wrong spelling) I worked with is AWESOME! Very personable and genuine. The parking is good, and valet is available. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone.

Very upsetting after spraining my ankle they gave me nothing to help me with the pain, they took four hours in total to be there and took two hours two wait. I want to walk-in btw worst service ever do not go.

When I decide to utilize an Urgent Care facility, such as this one at Encircle Health, versus a regular walk-in clinic (which only has nurse practitioners), I expect to see an actual Dr. not a Physician Assistant - her name was Amanda De Donato (P.A.). I called ahead of time to be sure we'd see an actual Dr. and if they could take care of the problem right there on the spot. I was reassured this would be the case. We had a great experience with the receptionist at check-in, the visit itself was unprofessional. The P.A. came across as very condescending and not very knowledgeable. Looked at her and said "It looks irritated and swollen" I felt like we were being rushed and not taken seriously. We were given no diagnosis, told us we had to go to another health professional or ER, yet she prescribed antobiotics because "it looks like it could possibly be an infection". Who wants to start antibiotics, unless you're 100% sure that there is an infection. My advice is to contact your regular physician or if you feel it's more of an emergency issue, use the ER.
