Our kitchen is remodeling and we eat out every day. Meanwhile, my hubby found a Cambodian food and tried first time without me. He liked the food so much that he took ordered for our dinner a week later. My impression was that the amount of meat in the combination plate was awesome and the flavor of the garnished vegetables was refreshing and good taste. Unfortunately the beef jerky was a little tough. I want to try the oxtail soup next time.
This place is truly one of a kind. Authentic Cambodian food done great. The flavor combination are like none I've ever tasted. The stuffed chicken, the Meatballs, the sauce, the spice, the balance. *u@k%ng delicious! Chef Theary Ngeth should and will have her own B&M, soon. Plus, by going to Theary you'll have the opportunity to support other grassroots vendors in a community space designed to highlight etnic cultures and cuisine. I will tell everyone I know about Theiry.
We went here for the first time this past weekend and absolutely loved it! Got the Combination Plate and everything on it was so delicious. The wait time was a little bit long because the owner looks to be running the place by herself taking orders, cooking, and serving. But she was SO kind and the food was absolutely worth the wait. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes on the menu!
Their shop is located in Spice Bridge, where it holds a couple other vendors like Eastern African food, Congo etc., and of course Theary, Cambodian food. We ordered two things: 1 Combination Plate $27: Comes with Stuffed Chicken Wing, Lemongrass Beef & Chicken Meatball, and Baked Lemongrass Coconut Chicken Quarter. Also comes with a side of pickled salad, I think it's fermented beats? This dish is absolutely DELISH! Very flavorful, can definitely taste the lemon grass Highly recommend! 2 Traditional Khmer mixed vegetables $19: Made with cabbage, green papaya, mixed green, clear vermicelli noodles, and bean sprout tossed in Khmer tamarind dressing. This dish to me smelled and tasted too fishy like overwhelmed with fish sauce Still overall it's tasty, you can definitely taste the fresh ingredients, all If it's fixing meshes really well. But it's just too fish saucey to me. Overall, the two dishes we had was yummy! I will definitely come back and try their other dishes like Ox Tail, unfortunately it wasn't available today :
The food is delicious and fresh-tasting. I have had Cambodian food before, and this place is my favorite so far. Very creative. The venue is very clean. Staff are friendly. I recommend the combo platter if it is your first time.
Had an early dinner. We were intrigued by the name, location & food reviews. OMG! It's a shame it closed. The owner is amazing and her food is incredible!!! She's now only open to catering. Try it. It's worth it!!Food: 5/5
I loved everything about this place from the interaction with the owner and of course the food. I had the combination plate, from the stuffed chicken wing, baked chicken quarter, and the meatballs; everything was just so tasty/flavorful and the presentation for it being a to-go order was beautifully done. I've had Cambodian food all my life but Thearys food knocks it out of the park. I wish I had her as my mom growing up cause GOODNESS I'd eat at home everyday lol. Just from the aroma radiating through my container, you just know the food was made with a lot of thought, love, and attention. I loved the pickled veggies, the chili oil and the tamarind sauce is seriously to die for, I'm mourning for the food I cleaned my plate of haha. There aren't many or any places that specifically specializes in Cambodian food. I appreciate and 100% support this business cause it's like going back to my childhood. I'm seriously living for Theary's food and highly-HIGHLY recommend.
This was the first time I had Cambodian food, and my was it delicious. I had their combination plate and it came with a chicken leg, stuffed chicken leg, rice, meatballs and some veggies and chili’s on the side. Everything was seasoned perfectly to my taste, I loved the meatballs and the chicken paired very well with the veggies that it came with. Overall I would recommend coming here and give it a try. Side note: I was informed by the owner that she would be closing down this location and possibly moving to another location or do catering by the end of the month End of March 2023 and to follow the instagram page for updates @thearycambodianfoods
