I’ve always ordered from here on UberEats. I decided to visit this place in person this time, I ordered whatever you see in the pictures. The food was super fresh and really tasty. The ambiance is nice and the servers were friendly. We had Bombay chicken, Chilli chicken, Chicken corn soup, Chicken pakoras, and Schezuan fried rice. Everything was perfect and hit the spot!! I would definitely visit again and I recommend this place for the food. However one loss in star for the service: -When we had to ask for condiments for the soup like soy and green chillies we only got the latter. small details go a long way! -Had to grab servers attention every time we needed something. - Every time we asked for napkins they would give 2 or 3 only, the food is spicy and when you ask the second time you would guess they’d get the idea that hey we’d be needing more than 3 napkins as a family of 3. Just give us more lol.
My partner and I drove from markham to try this place. We definitely think it was worth the drive. The food tasted really fresh and satisfying. Very glad that an Asian restaurant opened in Stouffville and offers an extreme variety of Thai and Asian food. I also really like how each dish is customizable with its protein options chicken, beef, shrimp or none, to make it vegetarian. The dishes aren't overly salty or oily, which are great benefits. The portion size is generous. I ordered the family meal for 5 people plus 1 extra noodle dish on the side and it came to a total of $102.80 after tax. The downside to this place is that the prices are not available online nor can you order online with them. I'm intrigued to try other dishes.
Ate here for the third time and consistently good food. Had the dinner specials tonight x 3. Crispy ginger beef, chilli fish, and Bombay chicken, with white rice, egg fried rice and Hakka noodles. Food came quick and fresh. Good quantity for 4 people. Good pricing too. Nice clean place and never feels overcrowded. Becoming a staple for us.
Love their pad thai, it says spicy but you should ask for spicy, because I didn't ask and it wasn't spicy but flavour was there. Lots of chicken and so filling. The peanut chicken wasn't what I thought, it was battered instead of saucy, but I liked the change, definitely would try other items on their menu next time.
Good flavour, great portion, but there was the negative. So much noodle diluted the protein curry was great. So much food! For the price so good. Flavor wise less carb more protein would be better. But service and quality were great!Food: 3/5
My wife and I were coming home from up north today and decided noodles for lunch would be good. Stouffville was enroute so did a search and came across Zen Hakka - so bit of an accident that we patronized the place. We couldn't really read the menu on the phone screen so risked a call instead. The gentleman who answered was helpful and we got an order in, though really weren't sure what it was we had ordered! Still not exactly sure what it was but there were noodles, beef and veggies, and it was terrific - beautiful noodles, tender beef and beautifully fresh, crisp celery and other veggies. We also ordered what I had hoped would be vietnamese rolls the cold, transparent kind but turned out to be deep fried spring rolls. Great guilty pleasure - almost tasted like donuts! I highly recommend.
This place is so good and fresh, fast, incredible service. ALWAYS enjoy having lunch here.

What a delight it was to order a meal from this spot. The gentleman at the front of house was welcoming and friendly. I asked for the lunch special which has an expansive menu for an affordable price and it was suggested that I try their Zen chicken. I'm glad I did. As sold to me it was delicious and unlike any chicken Hakka dish I've had before. Would certainly visit Zen again if I'm in the area.
