They have so much to choose from and the staff are really nice and friendly. The first place I've ever found metal interchangeable Tunisian needles. So glad I visited here on my trip.
Such a wide variety of yarn and colours to choose from. My kid is new to crocheting and was looking for specific colours that we couldn't find at our local stores. This store is wall to wall, floor to ceiling of everything you could possibly need for sewing, knitting and crocheting. The staff was very helpful when we asked for suggestions and advice for beginners. Will definitely be back for more yarn.
Great place and not running from a corporation but a Yarn Guy!nnPrices are quite competitive with the corporation yet the yarn that this place has are unique and good quality.
Dreadful experience here. I was browsing yarns today and the owner was talking to a young woman helping him in the shop. She was expressing excitement about a friend. Out of the blue, he said, loudly enough that everyone in the store could hear, “just don’t date a black guy. It can’t work out. Find a white guy.” I went to the front counter, put down my yarn, and walked out. I will not be back.nnEdit: I see the store has replied. I’m not sure what further context could make “don’t date a black man. It can’t work. Find a white man” at all okay, and hearing that he has a Black daughter just makes these remarks more shocking. It may have been a personal conversation but it could be heard throughout the store; it certainly wasn’t something I or the other customer wanted to hear.
Superb variety for all types of crafty projects. Definitely coming back here!
