Been going here about a year now. The place is always improving and shows no sign of slowing. My favourite part was that you could just sign up and use the equipment without them forcing a sit down with a trainer to talk about personal goals (cough good life cough). But the trainers are very friendly and super knowledgeable and will answer any questions without a hint of sales pressure. They also know their stuff so if you wanted a trainer (just look at other reviews) this would still be place to go. It feels like everyone knows each other (well they do). Like the "Cheers" of gyms - Luke is probably Norm - except very in shape :P.... Oh and did I mention the giant monkey bars rig you'll find no where else Olympic rings and all? Hard pressed to find a style of workout you can't do here.

I train with Matt and he is superb. Couldn't have asked for a better personal trainer. I have never been a gym guy but whenever I train with him, I lift 100s of pounds. He is such an inspiring and smiling figure. Brownie points, he is very strong on technicals and fundamentals.

I'm not really a review things kind of guy, but for the Wreckroom I will make an exception. This place is not just amazing but inspiring. Derek, Matt and Luke make everyone feel at home and make sure everyone is making progress the right way. I've been coming in regularly for 6 months now and I can't imagine going anywhere else. Keep up the good work!

I never ever thought I would be the kind of person giving a gym a positive review but I love the Wreckroom. It's a great facility and all the trainers are so awesome and they really make you feel welcome from your very first visit.

After doing some research and reading other reviews, I decided to join The Wreckroom in June. I've been training with Derek and attending his bootcamps. Derek has continuously motivated me, encourages me to do my best and makes working out an exciting experience. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming, everyone is always super positive and encouraging. Happy to be a part of a gym that cares for their clients and makes them feel at home!
