After being suggested that we try another dog daycare, we stumbled across the Woofer Walkers in Richmond! After a couple of suggested day-trial runs we dropped our pup off for a week while we went away to Alberta for the week. A couple hours in we get the text that the pup is a flight risk since we packed our bags in front of & all dropped her off as we were leaving the city - bog mistake. Well apparently after a calming bath and some cuddles, she settled in really fast at WW's. Woofer Bella was so good to alleviate our anxieties of this experience by sending us clips of our pup playing, sleeping, enjoying the other dogs' company which put us immediately at ease. There was also the Youtube channel that we watched each day watching our pup and the love that the other woofers gave to the dogs. It was a busy place but we really liked how they split some of the dogs up but also allowed play amongst little & big dogs. Different areas like water area, rest area and the running around area was a hit for the pup. Just enough variation in her day to keep her busy and playing at the same time. Since the successful week, we have gone back for daycare and have referred several others who all seem to enjoy it. Our pup is leaping out of the car and can't wait to get into the WW compound. Totally recommended!
My dog boarded at Woofer Walkers for three nights and I was so impressed by the level of care and experience provided by Jezebel, Justin and team. My dog was warmly welcomed and accepted, and had the best time playing with the staff and other woofers. The owners went above and beyond to make sure I knew my dog was safe, loved and having fun via text messages, pictures, videos and YouTube uploads throughout his stay. I'm so grateful that I get to enjoy my time away while having the assurance that he is being well taken care of. I highly recommend Woofer Walkers and their wonderful team!
Vader had been at WW for half daycare, full daycare and whole weeks of vacation. All the staff are so caring and kind. Hanna, Jasobel, Justin, Calum and rest of staff know all the dogs by name, treat them like their fam and post the best videos to keep you connected with your beloved dogs. I have tried four other doggy day cares in Vancouver and Richmond and would recommend WW leaps and barks beyond others. Their non-kennel and open yard/open house concept is the most humane for our doggy. Thank you!
If you have a Pomeranian or any dog really look no further because this is the Pomeranian specialist. Woofer Walker Jezebel Bella aka the owner treated my dog Cartel like one of her own went above and beyond for taking care of him & he always loved all of her staff who walked him. Staff were all professional. From the first phone call with the owner I knew she was someone I could trust with my dog. She was very charismatic, cheerful and a joy to talk to and was immediately ready to set up a date to meet my dog to see if he would be a fit. He was a fit and he was so excited to go to “school” dog walks and I was excited that you even get YouTube videos of your dog walk. Not only that but as time went on and Cartel went to stay at boarding with Jezebel’s daycare I got lots of videos of his stay seeing how he was interacting with the other dogs. This company isn’t about the profit they’re really there for your dog and love dogs. I think that for a pick up, 1 hour walk at the beach through nature, drop off & videos the price is a steal & your dog will be treated like family here. I used their services for about a year with no complaints.. I seen one review saying that they would miss lots of days unannounced that’s absolutely not true if there was extreme weather concerns I always got a text ahead of time saying the services wouldn’t commence that day and there was lots of open communication from Jezebel as she’s very responsive through texting/phone calls. I also recommend woofer walker Judy she was very professional and Cartel loved his walks with her. Woofer walker Justin is good too. A big thumbs up for this company I really recommended them to all my friends & family however none of them live in Richmond. If you’re looking for walks or boarding look no further. Don’t waste your time on other companies who will leave your dog in a kennel all day and sometimes not even walk them. The proof is in the pudding here with daily videos + their facilities are uncaged and the dogs have an acreage to explore. I could seriously go on about these guys they even gave my dog a birthday bandana to wear and a free birthday walk. They treat your dogs like gold. Call them immediately.
My dog had a great time during her 2 week stay. Came back happy and healthy. I liked that they posted videos so I can keep track of her during the trip
The owner of Woofer Walkers is absolutely amazing. My parents happened to be travelling due to a family emergency, when my mother became unwell and had to go to the hospital. My parents had no idea what to do with the dog while being at the hospital all day. I knew it would be a long shot but I called woofer walkers trying to find my parents options and because of the circumstances they drove to pick up my parents dog from the hospital ASAP. We were sent videos of Yeti through the day and could really tell how much they love animals. Upon picking up Yeti that evening my parents were impressed with their large centre for the dogs, how lovely the owner was and how happy Yeti was to get some exercise and love for a few hours. We can’t thank them enough for helping us out in what had been a terrible few days, and can’t recommend them more. Please check them out if your looking for an amazing and trustworthy place to take your pet.
I wanted to give a big shout out to Jezebel  and the Woofer Walkers Doggy Daycare team for taking care of my dog Wheatie this past week. 5 days 4 nights. I reached out in tears to Jezebel 3 days before a long-planned family vacation for last minute boarding services after being told by the other Richmond boarding/daycare that he would need more daycare sessions for socialization before he would be a fit for overnight stays. They knew since May of my vacation  dates! That was the reason I contacted  them in the first  place! Jezebel  showed compassion, support and empathy on the phone which was exactly what I was looking for in my dog's first time at boarding and first time away from his people.  She told me not to worry, they would make it work with my last-minute request for boarding. I was surprised with her welcome offer of a tour of her daycare the next day. the other daycare does not allow tours of the facility!   Wheatie showed comfort soon after we arrived and i knew instantly that this daycare was a fit and my dog was not "unsocialized" as I was told.  Dog selective...yes, takes time to warm up... yes but unsocialized...no!  My dog obviously  didn't feel comfortable  or safe at the other place. Too.many.dogs. Jezebel  and her team shared video updates and messages during his vacation which gave me so much relief knowing that he was in loving, caring company. Wheatie's dignified  personality aka socially awkwardness and  playing style was accepted and understood by the other woofers! I highly recommend Jezebel  and The Woofer Walkers  Doggy Daycare  and Dog Sanctuary team for your dog's boarding or daycare needs. They exuded professionalism, kindness, honesty, and experience.  They truly love all dogs big and small. They went above  and beyond making sure I knew Wheatie had fun, felt safe and accepted, and was well cared for. Wheatie will be returning  for occasional daycare to meet up with his new friends! I've been using the Woofer Walkers' service for the past 9 months. They have welcomed my dog with open arms have been so patient with him even though he's anxious and is a newbie to dog walkers. I've noticed significant improvements with my dog's socialization skills after using their services just once a week. I even had a family emergency and needed to board my dog last minute, and they were readily available to take him in such short notice. To Bella, Justin, and the rest of the Woofer Walker team: we are truly grateful for your service!
