Andre very kindly cooked a BBQ for 30 of my guests over from England for my wedding. The Brisket and Chicken were absolutely world class and everyone made a point of saying how good it was. He very kindly also provided a Potato Salad and assorted cutlery. I would highly recommend hiring Andre for any Birthday, Wedding or other big occasions as the food was just absolutely brilliant and really helped make a special occasion. Thanks a lot Andre.
I’d highly recommend stopping by this spot! My spouse had the brisket sandwich and loved it. It was tender and better than any other brisket sandwich he’s had. It was a great price too. The owner was also able to accommodate for my having Celiac Disease, which is hard to come by at a lot of restaurants due to cross-contamination. You have to try the house dressing! The owner and staff were incredibly friendly!
This place is a hidden gem! Had take out lunch from the woodfired cafe today. Gotta say I haven’t had a sandwich this perfect for a while! The pulled pork sandwich is AMAZING and very mouth-watering! They smoked their own meat, and even the sourdough/rye bread for the sandwich is crispy and warm and not just some random dull dry bread. The BBQ chicken sandwich is also top notch. The side that came with the sandwich is surprisingly delicious. They have milk alternatives for my hot chocolate and it tastes lovely as well. This lunch is a solid 10.
If you go to Westport for a day trip, make this a main stop. Enjoy a refreshing Strawberry Sensation smoothie or warming Fog Ducking Latte while you wait for either the grilled BBQ chicken or BLT sandwich. I highly recommend the absolutely amazing Pulled pork sandwich. The buttery crunch of freshly baked rye or sourdough bread gives way to mouth-watering perfectly smoked and sweet pulled pork. You will fall in love with the first bite. We picked up some lemon tarts and pecan pie to keep the experience going later on. You GOTTA eat here!! André knows his food!
Really excellent coffee and incredibly friendly staff. Pat and Andre were incredibly kind and even helped me find a tow truck company for a flat that I got just outside of Westport.nnI will certainly be back!
