Great place for lunch! All the salads, sandwiches, and soups I ever tried have been excellent! The cherry festival salad is especially delicious and the portions are very generous. A half salad is more than enough for one person. The service was nice as well.

This is an excellent choice for lunch or dinner.  The dining area is small, but cozy. The mushroom and Brie soup, so good. I had a blt that was so big, could only eat 1/2. The thick cut pepper bacon was cooked perfectly.  Would have been a 5 star, but for the somewhat long wait between the soup and sandwich. However,  will still comeback,  since it was a minor issue.

The Schoolcraft College-trained chef-owner knows what he's doing. Everything is perfectly prepared, executed technically very well, and the staff are real professionals. Atmosphere is casual, warm and friendly, plenty of parking, some outdoor seating for the two weeks of nice weather we have here in Michigan. Full bar, nice wine and craft beer selection.

Had some decent menu choices, even for vegetarians. The bri, mushroom soup was a bit bland for my taste, the cherry salad was awesome including the light but flavorful dressing. Great service.

An excellent, diverse & affordable dinner! My friend and I happened to meet for dinner at The Wooden Spoon on a Wednesday and took advantage of the unexpected free Meat & Cheese tapas when we ordered a bottle of wine. We noshed through another tapas, split a dinner and went home happy and full. All of food was very flavorful and portions were substantial.
