The Wood is one of the few restaurants that I actually have enjoyed more during the lockdown. There seems to be more of a focus on both value and quality of food, which is great. Glad to see wing night take out as well!
Wow, some of the best pandemic take out food we have had. Great ribs paired with a great Caesar salad. Long time local here, the wood has stepped up its game.
This was a lovely dinner all around! The food was amazing get the tuna poke tacos! as were the drinks. Staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and were amazing with our group that took up two socially distanced! tables, and included five kids! Even the picky kids cleaned their plates. We’ll definitely be back.
Great service. Proper distancing and other measures in place. Our server was lovely and very good at filling our water glasses even though she was quite busy. I appreciate that. Always love this spot!
Great seasonal decorations. The greatness stops there. Food average at best. Falls in line with Canmore mediocrity at best.
Nice atmosphere and good service, but the food wasn't the greatest. Dry ribs were tasty but not really dry and my medium rare steak looked cooked right but was very dry. Common theme with my dining partners. Food was tolerable but could definitely use a tweek
Have been here many times over the past few years and I am never disappointed! Food is always delicious, the fireplace is so cozy on chilly days, and it's great location with views of the gorgeous mountains. I love coming here after a hike!
