I just had my prenatal massage here in The Womb today. It was wonderful and relaxing. However it wasn't 45min massage as what I have scheduled for. I'm not sure if they count the signing of the form and the after massage talks in the 45min. If come back again, I'll try to book other therapist to just try different experience & maybe have exact 45min of the massage time.nnAnd also, you can hear the noises from outside the massage room. But I didn't mind, I just wanted to relax for a massage.nnThanks so much my therapist and to the welcoming people in the front desk.nMore Power!
The WOMB is a wonderful hub for mothers, parents, and children to get together in one place. I've attended their free monthly breastfeeding cafe with their certified lactation consultant. My son and I had a great time, and I found the LC's information provided very helpful.nI have also received Osteopathy services from Andrea post c-section, and have been finding it beneficial to date.nI recommend this place to families and children. The staff is kind and the location is very clean!
The womb is a special place. I am so glad I discovered this magical mama heaven. From pregnancy to postpartum and beyond, the womb will make you feel supported, safe, loved, and empowered and much more!.nnAn exceptional team through and through!nThe incredible front desk team goes above and beyond to welcome you and cultivate a relaxing environment.nnThe amazing service practitioners are knowledgeable and will help you with all your pregnancy and postpartum needs:n- massagen- counsellingn- pelvic health physion- osteopathn- lactationn- sleep consultantsn- yoga and fitnessnnThe womb helped me be a better mom. I am a different woman than the scared 20 week pregnant first time mom-to-be that walked in. Thank you CJ, Natasha, Gemma, Katelin, Cathy and Angela for your kindness, support and love.nnSpecial shoutout to Karen McWilliam and her Birthing Class and Emerging Mother's group. These classes have fundamentally changed me and made me a better mom. If you are pregnant take the McWilliam Birthing Class. I cannot speak highly enough about this course to help educate and empower you to have a positive birth experience. I am forever grateful for the experience. Every Mom needs a Karen YES, she is that good!!nnThank You The Womb!
Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with the Womb. I signed my husband and I up for Life With Baby, a 2 night course offering “engaging and interactive 2-part class designed to guide the transition from couple to family with real hands on practice, thought-provoking questionnaires, activities, worksheets, and discussion.” It cost $250+tax. We learned absolutely nothing. The instructor rambled for hours with little to no advice, engagement, or practical tips. Yikes. I contacted the Womb to express my disappointment privately first, and while they said “thanks for the feedback”, they made zero effort to keep me as a client. Based on their lack of concern and customer service, I chose to withdraw from the breastfeeding course as well, before I wasted more money. It’s a bit mind blowing that they are just willing to take money from people once and lose them as clients for life. I would highly recommend The Baby Academy for phenomenal FREE online courses.
Excellent hub for expectant people. Took the prenatal course with my husband, facilitated by Karen Mcwilliam. Cannot recommend this prenatal course enough!! Then took the postnatal course “Emerging Mothers”, also facilitated by Karen. New moms, or 2nd or 3rd + time moms: you gotta take this program! Karen: you are a blessing to all mothers out there, thank you nnI cannot thank Tasha enough for being my doula. My delivery and birth did not at all go to plan due to unexpected health complications but Tasha was absolutely phenomenal. She was supportive in all of the decisions I made and whenever she sensed that my confidence began to shift, or that the exhaustion started to hit, she became the backbone that I needed to persevere and to help me self-advocate and use my voice and follow my intuition. Thank you so much Tasha! Soo so grateful that you were there for this most special part of our lives.nnThe Womb is a half hour drive from where I live but the drive is worth it every single time!nThank you for existing
