I love this store. Gayle, the owner, is a hard-working, dedicated, and very knowledgeable local small-business owner. She takes immense pride in her business, her store and the artists and suppliers she supports. She genuinely wants each and every person who comes into her store to find that special treasure. It’s a great addition to the fabric of Whyte Avenue. Go check it out!
Gayle, the owner who is one of the first people I met in Edmonton. She has a wonderful store with home decor art of plenty through the roof. She supports quite a few local artists from Edmonton in her store. A quality boutique store worthy of your grace. Which will be greeted by a quality person.
Very cute store with lots of variety and a warm welcoming feel! Friendly staff as well. Can’t wait to go back!
I saw this red velvet reindeer in the show window. I went yo buy it.the staff was very helfful. Neat fine things in ztore.
Nice little shop but the sales person wasn't so friendly.
The cutest shop. The best living drag window sometimes too!
I love this store & every time I’m on Whyte which is rare, I make it a point to stop in because I love all the cool things they carry. Lots of art but also locally made funny mugs, magnets, signs, socks, etc. I stopped in yesterday & the ladies gave me a wonderful info session on a fancy air purifying/ home fragrance catalytic burner I was buying Lampe Berger, taking the time to answer my million questions. Thank you so much, I’ve always been a fan, appreciate your patience & great customer service
I love this shop! So many cool, unique gifts. If you're looking to get a gift for someone but you're not sure what to get them - go here. Highly recommend. :
3.5 Cool little store on Whyte. As a huge fan of trinket shops that sell local items, art and all things artsy, cards, etc. I was immediately drawn to it when I first moved to the city. I've been to this store several times and they do have quite the collection of cool things and support local artists and jewelry makers a lot which is really awesome. If you're a tourist here on vacation it's a great place to grab a souvenir of the city or province or if you're a local, I'm sure you're well aware of the healthy selection of cards, signs, socks, perfume/fragrances, and "I don't need this but want this" small items. My only issue would be with the shop owner/manager herself, who can appear a bit harsh at times around the no picture policy. I understand not wanting people to constantly take pictures of the walls cool signs are on the walls for purchase, or items, even as a security measure, but I have witnessed several times other people being told quite rudely to put their phones away/pictures aren't allowed, even when a few quite clearly only pulled their phones out to check messages, etc. I always get nervous when I'm in there to check my own phone. I dislike asking her questions also, since in the past she'll answer but then the up-sell/product push for much of the rest of your time in there after which can feel a bit much. Items can also be pricey, depending. Overall it's a neat little store that I really want to love but feel a bit let down each time I go in.
Very cool items, something for everyone! We love the Lora Zombie prints and the collection of funny socks! The staff were super helpful and friendly even as we were just browsing! Their attitude made me want to support their business so I bought a whole bunch of Lora Zombie prints.
