I was delighted to find Wine & Water puzzles sold here. I had two great experiences in the last week - Thursday with Jeff when I purchased one puzzle and Saturday with 3 lovely younger staff when I purchased 5 more. Since they are ridiculously expensive even for a puzzle nerd, I asked if there was a discount if I bought multiples. I was kindly offered a discount of 8%. If this was my last time there this review would be 5 stars. Tonight, I went back to buy the remaining 3 puzzles they carry for a total of 9 and asked if I could get the same 8% discount. I was very abruptly and rudely told by the 2 older women and older man staff members I should never have gotten the discount and it only applies to cases of wine. They carried on trying to rudely justify it wouldn’t be fair to other people who bought puzzles, etc. I purchased the puzzles as quick as possible and left with a sour taste in my mouth b/c of this interaction. If someone is willing to spend $500+ in puzzles in one week in your store, I expect to be respected as a customer and not scolded and told I was lucky I got the previous discount by the 3 older staff. As someone who works in eCommerce, I’m fully aware the retail markup on similar items. 8% on a puzzle is nothing compared to if it was wine. This review isn’t even about not getting the discount on the final 3 puzzles if I was told so respectfully. Sadly, that wasn’t the case.

Always a great selection and very friendly and helpful staff. They’ve recommended some wines to me that are now some of my favourites. Unique selection that I can’t find at other wine stores. This isn’t close to my house, but I find myself coming here more than other places when I need wine.
I went into the store on Nov 19 to look around in preparation for the Black Friday sale on Nov 26 when you can buy any unlisted wine and buy a promotional wine for $2.00 which is really good deal. There is wide selection of wines. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to the sale since you shop online or in store this year.

Great selection of quality wines, knowledgable and helpful staff. Many of the items here are distinctively better than MLC stores with none of the irritation. Lots of good value wine as well as high end products. Support the independent local business!
We had excellent service. Lots of unique gift ideas and choices of wine. I was also able to bring my daughter in, which is a plus when doing errands!
My preferred wine shop after having tried every other shop in the city, literally. Friendly staff always ready to help. Great wine selection! They carefully choose their bottles.
Helpful staff and a variety of winechoices from all over the world. I particularly like that the wines available are quite different than what you can purchase at the local Liquor Mart. It is also a very esthetically pleasing shop. I highly encourage anyone looking to buy wine to give this shop a try.
