The White Market

The White Market is a nice well stocked grocery store. The help are friendly and they have given lots of young high school kids jobs over the years. Prices are as good or maybe even better than the other stores in the area.

The White Market is a nice, small grocery store in an appropriately small town. They had a very nice selection of juices, snacks, and very tasty cookies from a local bakery. I checked the prices on several staples (e.g. yoghurt, milk, cereal), and they were in the range of other stores. I liked that they use little slabs of marble for the dividers at the checkout.

Just called, after a visit this morning. On a cheese special 2/ $4.00 They charged me $3.99 ea. I did not notice the error until checking by reciept at home ! Told the person on phone the issue. She said " come in we'll discuss it. Did not Acknowledge the problem or apologize ! Just said ,again come in with your reciept. We'll discuss it ! Very unprofessional !

A grocery market is always trial and error when I travel, but the White Market in St. Johnsbury and Lyndonville, VT were both superb . Selections in Meats and Produce were top notch. With well marked isles everything was easy to find.

Popular in town grocery store with decent prices, fresh deli food and salad bar, and a wide selection of wines and other beverages! Staff are knowledgeable and polite!
