Didn't get food so can't comment on that. But we were greeted by a nice gentleman. The table service was great. Only got a gin and tonic and it was delicious. The atmosphere was great too. They had a nice gas fire place too.Service: 5/5
Great place to have a whiskey or a beer. The food menu is limited, but the chicken sandwich was delicious. A really fun experience with a great atmosphere, and they have some board games too!Food: 4/5
The drinks are delicious and generous with the alcohol, but expensive $15-17 per drink. If you like gin, I highly recommend the Strange Design, and if you like tequila, definitely order In Bloom. The bar tenders are friendly and pros at making the drinks! Music is a good level for talking, so this is a good spot for a night out with friends and significant others!
It was okay. I got the Orange Spiced Negroni - it was well made and had a really nice strong orange flavor. The wings were also well cooked in the Gochujang sauce. So I guess for food and drinks the place was good - the ambiance was just meh. I think thats why it isn't higher rated for me. They are charging more "premium" prices for a spot that is more of a townie/divey bar-ish vibe. And don't get me wrong - I love those kinds of spots, but then that should be reflected in the prices.
one of a kind place for whiskey affectionatos. This place is perhaps one the best bars to visit, have a drink, and enjoy the company of friends. A place to remember. Unique, elegant, chique. Highly recommend it!
Nice speakeasy vibes in downtown Burlington VT. The Whiskey room didn't disappoint. Appears to have a good bar choice BUT we stopped in for some good whiskey. We're staying 1.5hrs away so we couldn't go in too much on whiskey tastings but my cocktail- The Sumac Sour was delicious! Not too big of a menu but who's really there for the food anyway! I love that the menu caters to meat eaters as well as vegetarians The Falafel Burger was 5 & the sweet potato fries were tasty-- especially with a side of the sriracha aioli Service was quick, attentive & on point! I will definitely be back to visit!! Vegetarian options: Falafel Burger
Cute little spot in downtown Burlington right off of church st. Small menu but food is to die for. Drinks are very good as well. Wish there was more cocktails to choose from but overall great. Would recommend!
I wasn't greeted and had to ask for a menu before the bartender spoke to me and when she did she said she'd be with me in a few minutes. I wasn't in the mood for a few minutes but the place looked cozy and looked like a place I would enjoy if I was in the mood. I'm assuming she was the only one in the FOH which really isn't her fault and with the type of drinks they make it's going to take some time... But the service was bad and so my search continues for a place that actually can deliver good service and good products without excuses. If you know of a place let me know...
If you go to one bar in Burlington, this should it. What a great story and atmosphere. Mike and Amber make amazing drinks and are so friendly. Try the Piggyback old fashioned or Aperol spritz.Service: 5/5
First the service was top notch, with that being said the drinks were less then good. I got a "We be Jammin" it was awful it tasted like pure lemon juice. I couldn't taste any alcohol or any of the jam. Couldn't even drink it. My husband tried ordering 3 different whiskeys from their menu top pours all of which they didn't have. We didn't eat but saw some of the food come out, it looked and smelled good. I just think they don't live up to their name.
