The Wheel House

This place brought back so many memories. Walking in the smell of fresh dough is pleasant and instills confidence that the quality of the pizza will exceed expectations. I wasn't wrong. Seeing the stone ovens took me back to ones of my first Jonas working at a Mom and Pop Pizza joint in early college. I knew between the scent when walking in, and seeing those beautiful ovens, this place was going to be special. Again, correct. My only critique would be the salty shrimp taking away from the pizza I ordered and promptly consumed. On my permanent list for pizza in the area! If you are visiting or have visitors coming, great place, great location, great pizza! Parking: Parking further down on 4th Street is perfect, amongst always a spot to back into.

This place is awesome!!! MUST CHECK OUT The team work with the crew was fascinating to watch.. they were so busy and everyone was doing their job and then some.. they have very delicious food! Everything was fantastic.. the tables are big so your not crammed.. they even have games to play, we played uno waiting for our food! What a wonderful experience! Can’t wait to come back

Best pizza we have had in years! Our daughter is dairy free so pizza is challenging. These guys did her justice with the toppings! So much toppings! So dang outstanding!! Well done, Village Pizza.

Village Pizza in Anacortes was our lunch destination today. We ordered two large pizzas, a sandwich and a salad. The food: we ordered the 'old town' which came with red sauce, cheese, sausage and mushrooms. The crust at Village Pizza is one of the best I've had in a while. Thick, yet crispy, it is delicious. The 'old town' hard a great taste and had lots of mushrooms as requested while the 1/2 cheese 1/2 pepperoni was well liked by the kids. The sandwich was large and enjoyed by the kids and the salad was large with lots of fresh vegetables. The atmosphere: the restaurant reasonably clean with freshly cleaned tables and a nice, clean restroom. The thing that prevents the score from being higher is just that, while it's good, it wasn't anything extra special. I'm tough on scores so please don't think this review means you shouldn't visit, you should.

Took 2.25 hours for cold old oily pizza. Our cheese was a solid piece not melty and stretchy. Not enough sauce and not pre-cheesed so all toppings slide off if not held onto, which was hard with all the oil on it. $4 delivery was the best part.

100% the best pizza in Anacortes. Not a chain. This gem is privately owned and operated. Located in the historic downtown, Village Pizza is great for families and the connected Wheel House tavern is a locals after work fav. Everything on their menu is homemade, fresh, and tasty - including the yummy pizza sauces and hand tossed crusts!

We had three hungry guys with the appetite of Sasquatch and a nice meat pizza really hit the spot. There's a room you can rent for parties upstairs. The restrooms were clean, but they are shared with the bar next door, so there was a wait. It's a different style of crust than your take out joints, A little more substance to it.Food: 5/5
