I recently stayed here, and my experience was incredibly disappointing to say the least. The hotel was hosting a furry event during my stay, which made the entire atmosphere feel unwelcoming, uncomfortable, and downright unsettling. The presence of individuals in full-costume, often in large groups, was intimidating, and I genuinely felt unsafe at times. It’s worth noting that this event is certainly not appropriate for children — in fact, it felt far from being a family-friendly environment.nnThe elevators were a disaster, consistently overcrowded with attendees, making it difficult to even get in or out. This created a real safety concern, as the cramped conditions left little room to maneuver, and the risk of accidents was high. It was hard to get any peace or privacy, as the hotel felt chaotic, and I had no sense of security during my time there.nnI would not recommend this hotel for families or anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. It’s clear that the hotel’s focus was on catering to a niche event, without considering the comfort and safety of all guests. I won’t be returning to this hotel again. Absolutely the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. Will be in touch with head quarters and will be emailing every member on the board.
My son and I flew in from Minnesota to watch the Maple Leafs game, they won so that was exciting but our hotel stay was exceptional! The beds are hands down the most comfortable beds I've ever experienced in a hotel! The shower heads are like heaven! The food from room service was very good and the location was incredible!! Watching the sunrise over the harbour was beautiful, we were within walking distance to get to the hockey game, the CN tower and the aquarium. There is a Tim Hortons right across the street and the staff was incredibly helpful. Very clean and smells amazing everywhere you go.
Stayed for a weekend. The room was really nice, but on the small side. There was nowhere to really lay out our suitcases and clothes, items, etc. The cleanliness was a little questionable. When we arrived I noticed hair in the shower, green streaks on the mirror and an open bottle of mouthwash, which really made me wonder how well the room was cleaned prior to our arrival. These weren’t things that couldn’t be removed because they were gone the next day after room service. The view of our room was nice.
Great Stay with Exceptional Service and a Beautiful View!nnI recently stayed at this hotel and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The service was truly amazing — the staff were friendly and smiling all the time.nThe highlight, however, was the view from our room. We had a stunning view of the lake, and the sunset was absolutely breathtaking.nnThat being said, there were a couple of things that could have been better. The room wasn’t as clean as I would have hoped — the floor was a bit dusty, especially in the hidden spots, which was a little disappointing. Additionally, we came down to to have at dinner at the hotel restaurant but the service wasn’t that great, it could use some improvement. We walked in and had to wait over 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, but once seated, the waiter was very kind and he even offered us a lovely cake to celebrate our anniversary, which was a sweet gesture.nnDespite these minor issues, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its amazing staff, fantastic view, and overall positive atmosphere. We had a great time and would return in the future!
First time guest at the Harbour Castle . Will be happy to return. Great location. Easy valet and check in. Great facilities pool , fitness ECT and my favorite part was the buffet breakfast at Mizzen. Shout out to James who took great care of us. I think I found my new downtown t.o go to hotel
