This certainly must be one of the best places to stay in Kamloops. A very refreshing and modern, clean room without clutter and everything in functioning order. Beautiful views from the balcony, not noisy, and kept at a great, cool temp during high heat thanks to the in room AC. We had our dogs with us and had ample room for them during our stay, and took advantage of the large green spaces on and around the property. We felt secure and at ease with their upgraded systems, cameras, and staff making us feel right at home. It was a great stay and we will likely always choose the Vista Inn when we have to spend the night in the city. Also has lots of parking, and easy in/out drive in from the main road. Really loved our stay! The only comment of criticism I'd make is the fact that there should be more hangers/hooks in or around the bathroom for wet towels. There was 3 of us showering using a towel, but only one hook on the bathroom door. There was a rack beside the shower, but towels are so long they were draped over the toilet paper roll - not ideal. So we took them and hung them with the coat hangers in the provided closet. Not a big deal at all and easy to manage, just something to consider for larger rooms that host more guests.nWould HIGHLY recommend this place!!!!
With one exception, this motel checked all the boxes for us and was a good value for the area. Our room was immaculate and, though very basic was very cute. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought and effort into the renovations and their pride in the property shows. The view was beautiful. The pool was a welcome amenity on the scorching days we were there. The only negative for us was that there was no elevator and our senior citizen knees do a lot of complaining when climbing steps. If we could get a first floor room, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
We had the pleasure of staying at Vista Inn recently 2 times, and I must say, the renovations have transformed this place into a gem. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking view.nnThe room itself was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The large window was a particular favorite, offering a stunning vista that made it hard to leave the room.nnFirst time we had a room on the first floor and it was hard to sleep because of the noise from the upper floor at least for someone who is noise sensitive, though the second time was amazing when the staff after the request in advance, gave us the keys from the second floor, where you don’t hear any noise and have a better view from the window. If noise sensitivity is a concern, I would recommend requesting a room on an upper floor where the experience is likely to be quieter.nnVista Inn offers a wonderful experience with its beautiful views, modern amenities, and warm hospitality.
Had a very comfortable stay, excellent price on too. Plus a senior discount as wellonly complaint is that when redoing rooms with laminate flooring, there should have been more concern for sound. Our neighbours upstairs sounded like they had military boots on .The staff are very helpful and friendly.The outdoor pool was an added bonus, so refreshing on such a hot summers day.
This is a lovely little boutique motel. The staff are so helpful. The rooms are lovey and exceptionally clean. The beds are comfortable, and the amenities on the room are great. Nespresso coffee machine, a mini fridge, cooker, microwave. It’s like a little home away from home. It has a swimming pool, it’s right next to a lush park with a spectacular view. There is also an amazing Indian restaurant just steps away from the motel. I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay.
