We had our Anniversary dinner here just over the weekend. As if we booked the whole restaurant to ourselves. Service was great. Food was nothing special. It a nice place to have a great Autumn view. This is a great place if you want to stay away from the City noise.
We had a lovely and tasty dinner last Saturday at the Vista. The food was very good and the service was perfect. My fish was missing a bit of cooking and they went above and beyond to replace it and make sure we had a great dinner together with a huge discount on the bill. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks to the staff there and especially our waiter.
Staff was very welcoming. We went to have dinner on the patio. Beautiful atmosphere and outdoor patio was nice. Good variety of food options. Our server jacqueline was excellent and really took good care of us. Food was okay maybe a solid 4/5. Could’ve been a lot better for the price. I’d visit again for the vibes it’s a really nice atmosphere
Wonderful value for your money. Wonderful service and stunning decor though out. The food was absolutely delicious. Loved the fried cauliflower. Very romantic. Will definitely be back. Vegetarian options: Loved the vegan options. The salad was to die for and the vegan cheese was the best I have ever had
We visited the Vista on a Sunday evening and it was a perfect getaway. The lush green location is a mesmerizing retreat from the bustling city life. The patio is perfect for summer evenings. It is designed to cater to the changing weather throughout the year. The Vista by Chef Denis Jaricot is a contemporary, fine-dining restaurant that specializes in traditional Canadian Cuisine with a French zing. Situated at the heart lake road, the drive to the Vista is scenic. Michelin Star trained Executive Chef Denis Jaricot is no less than a magician. We started the meal with Kale and Romaine Caesar Salad loaded with Prosciutto ham crisps and Parmesan Croutons, pairing it with Prosecco for a wonderful evening. Gazing at the treeline, we munched the refreshing, crunchy salad. I was tempted to opt for the Headwater's Satay. There were multiple options to pick from. I chose Wild Shrimp and Salmon : The marination was distinct and the flavors oozed in every bite. Next up, the chicken supreme and the mimosa was a match made in paradise. Free range chicken supreme is nut-free, gluten-free and dairy-free. The dressing in forage mushrooms, cheese curds and mushroom cream sauce is delicious. A “Capuchin” Chocolate Ganache - Mocha Almond Biscuit with mango salsa followed. There couldn't be a better way to end the meal. The Vista is a popular destination for a delicious meal. If you are looking to add some flavor to your monotonous routine or searching for your next destination for a special occasion, I would recommend dinning in at the Vista. Kudos to Nipun and team for a wonderful time. Can't wait to experience the magical views at the Vista this fall. You'll love every bit of it the way we did. Cheers
Dinner was delicious especially the truffle honey with the bread. Highly recommend and would come back again when it’s fully done.
We tagged along with a friend who was doing PR/social media marketing for The Vista on Sunday evening. From start to finish it was a great experience. The team was ever so accommodating and polite. Since photos needed to be taken of food and drinks, we requested a table change which allowed for better lighting and the team quickly set us up at another table with no qualms. Our servers Crystal and Trey were knowledgeable, charismatic and a pleasure to be around. The food was delicious and the presentation was lovely. The atmosphere was fantastic and made for a really enjoyable evening out with friends. We kept talking about how lovely the scenic views are and imagining ourselves back for another experience. Definitely recommend checking it out! Note if you plan to wear heels: No biggie but it is gravel from the parking area up a little ways on the driveway so be careful walking.
We went for dinner on New Years Eve, and everything was great from the time we arrived to the time we left. The grounds and building were picturesque, and they had complimentary valet parking as we pulled up. There was a band playing soft music during dinner and the atmosphere was great. We ordered the seafood tapas, prime beef rib, and lamb chops, which were all incredible. We also had a very large shareable dessert and a few cocktails that were all very good. The service was incredible as well. I highly recommend The Vista for dinner for a special occasion or a night out. We look forward to returning and enjoying the view during the day.
A beautiful place off a country road. Then stayed for dinner. Dinner was simply amazing. Lamb to perfection. Sides that were tasty and cooked right.
Wow! Speechless. Fantastic food with great cocktails. Would highly recommend for a fine dining night out treat! We had quite an array of food with my personal favourites being the fettucine and the lamb. Outstanding service and an excellent dining area in such a beautiful building. The marble lobby, the stunning dining area and patio and even the chairs and tables were wonderful. Will come back for sure! Vegetarian options: Had multiple vegetarian and vegan options kncluding moussaka and hummus Dietary restrictions: Everything on the menu was labeled with dairy free, nut free, vegan, or gluten free
